I liked the idea of this group, it seems like one I can really be active in!

I love reading but I always have problems finding books I might like, so I'll try to keep up with the group every month. I am 24 years old, female and I'm currently job hunting so for the moment I have plenty of time to search for books and read.

I absolutaly LOVE to read!! Im so excited for next monthes thems and have already finished this months theme (Oct) with out realizing it. I am definatly on the right track :)

I like the idea of being a Theme Rebel if you aren't interested in the theme, but I also noticed that no one has to be a Theme Rebel in October. You just have to put the book that you're about to read on your To Read shelf just before you start. Then lo and behold, you are reading the most recent book added to your To Read shelf. I think that's charming.

My taste in literature is quite wide, just recently fell in love with Colm Tóibín, a few other favourite authors of mine are Richard Yates, Max Frisch, Beckett (Samuel not Simon), Agota Kristof and Coetzee.

I will pretty much read anything. I'm really into Bizarro fiction right now. I have only read Carlton Mellick III so my love of the genre is based solely on him. Other than Bizarro I will read either classics or satire.
I think goodreads is one the reasons I have read so much more this year, so hoorah.

Hi, Hailey! I had similar experience: when I was student I had to read a lot of manuals and I found myself less and less interested in reading in general. I think now that time is over. It's a good thing, right?

I love the idea of this book club! It's so unique and it's a great addition to the other book clubs I'm in. :)

See, I have a problem with starting books and then never finishing them. So I figured joining a book club would be a good idea, because it would give me a deadline to finish the book by. However, just like the description to this group says, I was worried I would get stuck reading something I really didn't want to. Whoever came up with this is a genius!
