(And congrats on your wedding and going back to school, Beckiee; best of luck on both fronts!)

I think this group will work perfectly for that!

I am happy to have found this group, this should be interesting!! =)

Oh my goodness I feel that way every time I add a book to my "to read" page.

Same here. It's gotten to the point where I'm actually starting to feel guilty adding new books to my massive to-read lists, since I know it won't make it anywhere near the top of the list for a few years... >.<

I definitely feel the same way. ;)

As for me, I'm Amara. I'm an eighteen-year-old, female (US) American. I'm partial to horror, fantasy, and children's books, and I enj..."
Hello I'm Eris I like to dabble in all genres of books but I love fantasy. I'm in high school at the moment.

I always feel like my "Read" shelf is a bit artificially inflated, since over the past year, I've taken to rereading and rating/reviewing picture books I remember from my childhood. ;)
(And my to-read shelves are definitely over-inflated, lol. Too many books to read, too little time to do it!)

Thankyou for adding me, my friends and other student library assistants at my school are lazy to join xD

Same problem here; I've badgered a few of my friends into joining, but none are particularly active members.
And welcome, Isabel and SteinFussel!

My name is Melissa. I live in the USA and I am 37. I live in a small town and love everything that it has to offer. I am a middle school English teacher. I have a young adult library of over 1,000 books. My favorite genre would have to be historical fiction - more specifically Victorian period crime novels.

I like a variety of themes from mystery, thriller, fantasy to historical fiction, romance, classic literature and chick lit. I look forward to discovering more genres and books!

Hey Amy - Nola to Colorado, though hopefully not for much longer! (Not that I hate Colorado, but, you know, it's a very different sort of place.) So not *quite* as late, but not great either.
And yeah, I'm so busted! :D I got a series and loaned the initial books to my parents once I was finished with them. Then tonight I just realized that, since I went on a total book bender and read a mess of other things over the last few weeks, they are catching up on me with alacrity. It seemed like the only right thing to do was finish the next book in the series, and quickly. :) (Or, you know, that could just be a really good excuse to stay up late reading . . . whichevs. When I was a kid if my folks caught me up late reading they'd ground me from reading anything more interesting than the back of a cereal box and my homework for the next 24-72 hours, so now there's always something illicit and rebellious about sayin', "screw sleep.")
