Ryan Caradonna | 3 comments I am new to this site and am exploring the "book giveaways" portion.

The book I just published is available in both print and ebook versions. I would like to register for a couple of days to give away the digital (not print) versions, but as the digital version has been published as a kindle book, I must link to their site (as opposed to uploading the original file). I have been playing around on the site trying to figure out how to do this for a few hours now, but with no luck. Can anyone provide some guidance?

Specifically, I will be able to distribute my book for free via Kindle for a 2 day period in June and would like to be able to make folks aware of that thru the giveaway program.

Thanks so much!!

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments Librarians do have any input/control over giveaways.

You need to either re post here:

or use the Contact Us link on the help page

Kara (karaayako) | 30 comments Ryan, a quick answer to your question: at this time, Goodreads does not allow ebooks for giveaways.

Amara Tanith (aftanith) Instead, I'd suggest creating an event to raise awareness of the days the book will be free.

But as Paula said, this isn't a librarian issue. Here is the group for authors, and that's the right place to post if you need more help with this. :)
