Angus, are you responding to the old message? I re-read the discussion between Jzhun and Charles because I thought you were discussing to one of them. There was no mention of penis in their discussion hak hak. So parang ang dating, sumasabat kang bigla hak hak.I agree with Jzhun. The ending of LOTR (in Book 3) is not happy. But I will not explain kasi spoiler.

I was wondering kasi doon sa movie, bakit wala syang damit. Dahil ba kapag isinuot yong ring, nawawala ang body pero yong damit naiiwan. Think Jacob sa Twilight. May dala-dalang shorts ang wolf. hak hak.Tapos nag-shrink si Gollum mula sa pagiging Smeagol. Bakit? Dahil sa effect ng ring. Pero si Frodo, di nag-shrink. Anyway, nasagot na ito ni Charles. Kaya, yon lang, naisip ko lang. Kasi si Tarzan, may bahag. Si Gollum, di man nilagyan ng kahit ano. Parang unggoy lang na walang buhok.
At minsan ko lang ginamit ang penis (sa original question ko). Hindi paulit-ulit na kagaya ng hanggal na si Enright.

Kasi PG rating ang Lord of the Rings :PActually nawawala yung buong katawan, kasama ang damit.
Pero inaccurate ang movie, at least based on The Hobbit. Gollum wears dark clothes. (At may pockets ito.)
It's just that in the first book-to-screen adaptation of Lord of the Rings, the Bankin/Rass cartoon, Gollum was portrayed as being naked. We can only presume this influenced Peter Jackson's interpretation.

si gollum ay ang dating smeagol. binago sya ng ring. sa movie #3 ipinakita mukha ni smeagol. pinatay nya si deagol. parang cain at abel lang.

Maria, yes he is half-elven, but still accepted as an Elf and so his powers nor his stature among his race doesn't diminish.
Yung sinabi ni Jzhun.At makapangyarihan talaga si Elrond.
Ang kapangyarihan naman ng elves is more or less immortality (yung magic, etc. is a different story/attribute).

(view spoiler)[It's true that the Frodo at the beginning of Fellowship of the Ring is not the same Frodo at the end of Return of the King. There's also the sense of Pyrrhic victory at the end and greater knowledge or awareness of the consequences of war.
But arguably after that point, they're less likely to change. I think that's why Bilbo also wanted to pass on the Ring to Frodo because he wasn't likely to change anymore from the quest (aside from the other reasons). It's not that Frodo or Bilbo stop learning new stuff, and it's not that Frodo didn't change post-Ring acquisition--even Smeagol/Gollum changed a bit over the course of the books--but at the end of Return of the King, their potential for growth was more or less done and over with, and this was partly due to their immortality.
