Share lang. There's this Popular blogger I follow[like 300-500 comments per posts-kind-of-popular], Mark Oshiro of Mark Reads, who does a chapter-by-chapter review..."
Thank you for sharing, I was laughing my head off, which isn't a good thing when you're at work... now everybody thinks i've lost a screw or two.

Kahit i-type mo markreads[dot]net sa address bar? Tapos sa Past Books menu tab andun yung LOTR and The Hobbit submenus. :)
Angel: Welcome! It also kind of lessens the productivity. When I first discovered the site(back when the HP posts are still available) I have the site open in a tab the entire day. True story.

well, my boss has been away for more than a week now, so my productivity is close to non-existent since my work revolves around him (sounds like a housewife, but I'm not). which is why this is a welcome distraction and makes me look busy in front of others... *grins wickedly*

Kudos to those who have started already! Ako this week pa lang. :) Thanks Aaron for the link! Man, that will help a lot. :D
for technical and factual questions, Jzhun is the man for you!
sa akin na lang ang insightful questions. the first one i will post this week ;)

Tolkienese couple: Maria and Jzhun. Parang si Arwen at si Aragorn. (tama/bagay ba?)

Hindi ko lang alam kung isasama ang story ni Beren at Tinúviel—which was inspired by the true love story of John Ronald Reuel and his childhood sweet heart and wife, Edith—sa movie ng The Hobbit. Focus ata ng Dec. 14 movie yong vanquishing of the Necromancer (Sauron) from Mirkwood through the powers of the White Council.

I think they were mentioned in The Children of Hurin. ;)

For at least, there's nothing wrong with reading a companion guide. :)

And if you want to listen to Gollum sing here's a link. It always make my day whenever I'm in need of some boosting.

Yup, The Hobbit is divided into two parts :)

oh, man. sana hnd lumabas. lol

Have anyone here read the Magical World of LOTR by Colbert? Di ko maappreciate masyado kasi parang need tapusin ang whole trilogy haha pero very nice yung info about Middle Earth being England and WWII

He really means it Maria!

Boom! *pinana ni Legolas* X`D

Patience is the virtue of a handsome gentleman. *ubo!*

I think this is one of the meaty questions that our dear book moderator will tackle.
Interestingly, in our generation why do we equate camaraderie and loyalty of men to his other fellow such a thing, or what we call nowadays as bromance? I do get a lot of it, especially when I read the friendship / partnership of Sherlock Holmes and Dr John H. Watson in the Canon.

i don't find it awkward.in fact, Sam's loyalty to Frodo is the one that made me really love this book. He's my fave character dhl jan.
what i wouldn't give to have that kind of friend. :)

(i think i'm talking about book 3 na, LOL)

Kidlat, nasaan ka? Hinahamon kita!

Now you've heard it folks, that's Kuya D's (Dandalf) version of Gandalf's You shall not pass! quote. :)

For me, si Sam ang bida in this epical trilogy.

Kailangan kasi may sasalungat.
