Gleaming pots and pans reflect the bright, overhead lights as two cooks bustle about the kitchen, busily preparing the next meal. The counters are covered in powdery flour and dirty dishes are heaped in the sink. The temperature is swelteringly hot as a turkey roasts in the oven.

[Jess]

"ugh I'm starving! You want something to eat?" Phoenix opened the pantry and pulled out a packet of chips, "so do you like the institute?" she said, leaning against the counter.

James sighd "Sure, You do have a weird group of friends" He took a chip from Phoenix, "Its a neat place..."
He looked at her. "So, whats so special about you?"

"Me? I'm wicked with a dagger, and I am lethal with a whip, if that's what you mean," Phoenix replied, munching on a chip, "cecily isn't my friend. Tala is though, we've known each other for yeeeeeeears. Cecily is just a random vamp who was walking around and found us, I have no idea where everyone else is though, Damien and imigo, I think Amelia is still at the restaurant with tala,"

James lifted a eyebrow. "to an extent... You did use 2 words that meant the same thing..." He shrugged, "so, where would I be sleeping?"

Amelia had been so scared at the fight at the river and didn't even come to the Jade Wolf. She had ran away and had been wandering the streets since dark trying to find her way home. Now that she was here she realised she was starving and went to the kitchen. When Amelia walked in and saw Phoenix she cried out and ran full speed into Phoenix's arms. Then her legs gave way. She cried and hugged Phoenix. 'Im so glad your safe!' she said through the tears, 'I was scared at the fight and so I ran away but I got lost and coudnt find my way home and this guy was following me and I was so worried!'

[Jess]

"OMYGOSH AMELIA I'VE BEEN SO WORRIED!" Phoenix picked her up in a hug, "Don't ever do that again!"

James looked down. "oh, hello..."

[Jess]

"oh whoops! Amelia this is James,"

James looked at the girl. "Hello there!"

"she's like our little sister," Phoenix said putting Amelia back on the, "woah woah woah, what guy?"

"That would be Grimm..." James said, "I expected this..."

Amelia sniffed and wiped her eyes as Phoenix put her down from the hug. She loved Phoenix to the ends of the earth and was so glad she was back with her big sister. 'Hello.' she said nervously to James, 'Who are you? What are you?' She could tell he was something different and grabbed Phoenix's hand and stepped behind her for she was frightened. 'Um..he was scary. He had like spiky hair and black clothes an kept trying to get close enough to touch me and he was whispering things. And he smelled like a demon. It was horrible.'

"Yep. Grimm..." James looked the girl. "Me? Im nobody" He said, russling her hair.

Amelia giggled despite herself. She could see he wasn't human but she liked him. Stepping out from behind Phoenix she tugged on her hand and asked if she could get some food. Then without waiting for an answer she skipped to the drawers and pulled out some Jaffa cakes. 'Do you want some?' she asked Phoenix and James as she sat at the table that came up to her chin.

Phoenix went and got some drinks, "Amelia did you have your knife with you this afternoon?" she said anxiously, sitting down.

Amelia blushed and cast her eyes down. 'Y-yes.' she stammered embarrassed, 'But I was to afraid to use it cause I didn't know if he was human or not and.....I was scared.'

[Jess]

"you were very brave for making it all the way back here," Phoenix ruffled amelias hair, "that was a good decision to make, not attacking him, I'm so proud of you," Phoenix smiled.

Amelia giggled and blushed with pride. 'Thanks Phoenix!' she said happily. 'Is everyone ok? Can we go back to normal now? Can you start teaching me again?' she asked curiously as she hugged Phoenix and kissed her on the cheek.

[Jess]

"Yes I'll start teaching you again, I'm not sure where Damien is, but as far as I know everyone's alright, I'll go look for him up on the roof," she laughed as Amelia kissed her on the cheek. "I'll have to go now, I'm worried about Damien. I'll be back soon! You two get to know each other, bye guys!," Phoenix Got up and hugged Amelia, then left the room
