The Red Scarf Girl took you through the life of a girl growing up in communist china. She has to face many confusing ordeals, everything she strived for was now considered bad or "four rolls". She goes through this challenge thoughly and eventually pulls through. This book makes you appreciate our life in America.

There was a lot of description in a page where it says the corners curled up, then turned brown. This made me think that coffee got spilt on top of the painting.
