Tom Lloyd's The Twilight Reign

This is possibly my favourite fantasy series right now. I'll have to see if A Song of Ice and Fire can nudge it out, but I've only read Game of Thrones so far, so judgement can't be passed yet.

I was wondering if anyone else had read this series and what their thoughts were on it? Good, bad, indifferent?

I have read the first three books in the series (4 out so far, I think 5 in total) and I think they are pretty good. Llyod has created and interesting world particularly the role of religion/the gods and the white-eyes. I found the villain to be more interesting than the main protagonist but as it progressed they add some more characters as allies that make up for that.
