I believe i've made a way to beat the poof. first of all, you have a heart attack. second you die when everyone poofs, but they bring you back to life through those machine thingys that brings you back to life. hermit Jim didn't disappear because he was dead. so if you are dead when the poof happened then if you come back you wont go. i think.

well how would you make yourself have a heart attack? it seems lke a bad way to go
I totally agree, perhaps if at that moment in time you were.. let's say on the line where the barrier forms you might have hmm I don't know half your body? xD

Well I'd honestly choose a self afflicted heart attack rather then the Fayz, let me remind you that there is canabilism, murderous coyotes, human eating worms and all sorts of chaos!

Did this ever occure to anyone? What happens if someone was half in and half out of the fayz? I mean if his body was directly on the barrier once it happened?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Although I guess the author just made us assume they were al in town or whatnot, I mean if you see the geographic area of the FAYZ there's not much around the barrier so...
