Abby I actually did see this coming. And I don't think it's really creepy anymore, but I don't like the resolution. I really liked Anubis, so I wanted her to end up with him (alone). Also it's kinda weird how she never knows who's saying this too her or who she is talking to.

you can see him in the duet."

I agree with you. It was so sad and weird.

Katie Anubis is just a little creepy, and mysterious. And Walt is so good and kind. Together, that's a pretty good combination:)

Exactly!

Laurel I predicted this in book two but I hoped that I was wrong. It's just too weird. It's not the fact that Walt is hosting Anubis that's weird (Zia momentarily hosting Ra was weirder to me) but the fact that both liked her and get to have her by Walt becoming Anubis's eye.

By the way, has anyone ever thought about what sort of conversations Walt would be having with Anubis in his head while he's with Sadie?

i completely agree, i like anubis and sadie together a lot better. Like Walt is hot but he's too old for her. even though anubis is like 500,000 years old at least he's looks 16 and is extremely handsome! I feel so bad for Anubis because what about when Walt kisses Sadie, like anubis is just there watching it must be so awkward and sad for him because he loves sadie too and he doesn't get to kiss her or anything he's just in walts mind. Also, like what about when walt thinks of sadie how annoying for anubis because he hears wants every thought. Tbh i like Anubis and Sadie a lot better and think that its a cool solution but it has its downsides to it.

Alex I liked Walt, seriously, it wouldn't have been cool if she'd been with Anubis. He literally has eternities to find another girl he likes, but Walt kind of just has the moment. I didn't read the last book yet...thanks for the spoilers guys! (I'm not being sarcastic)

I like Anubis

K.E. (HowTheHoursGoBy) Eh. I’d have to say that I didn’t care much for Sadie’s love drama in the first place. It felt like a bit of a cop-out when Riordan kept Walt alive for that sheer purpose.

It’s LITERALLY a WAR with CHAOS. I don’t think that you can keep everybody alive there.

I think what Carter said to her while she was angsting made the most sense.
