Sadie Forsythe | 36 comments Your link to Dusk didn't quite work out, so I can't compare to your example, but you might try reading the sample chapter of The Weeping Empress on Amazon.

If you are interested I have a Smashwords coupon floating around (DH72C). Since it is available to all, you could download it without feeling obligated. In fact I wouldn't even know.

Hope you find the perfect book, even if it isn't mine. I like the same type of books, so I'll be keeping an eye on what is suggested.

Nick Wisseman (nickwisseman) | 40 comments Hey Shane,

My short story "Branded Faith" may not have as much action as you'd like, but I think you'll like the complexity:) Here's the URL: http://www.amazon.com/Branded-Faith-e...

Thanks,

Tom C. Underhill

I have some other stories on Smashwords here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...

Or I could just send you "Branded Faith."

Shane,
I would love for you to review my work, On the Matter of the Red Hand. I'll include the Amazon link. Give it a glance when you have time, I understand you may be busy, and if it looks like your kind of thing, give me a holler for a copy. Thanks so much!

Nicolas Wilson | 14 comments Shane, I write dark action-based stories in a few different genre's. My debut novel, Whores: not intended to be a factual account of the gender war is a dystopian science fiction. I have a few other projects coming soon with a sharper fantasy edge, and if you would like, I can provide a copy of those for review, before they are released. They're currently in my editors hands.

Contact me with your email, if you are interested in reviewing Whores, or one of the others.

Val Panesar | 6 comments Despair: Servant of the Fates

To be honest, my first book probably has a lot more action :), but it kind of bridges over sci-fi/historical fantasy. Despair is a fantasy set in an original setting (similar to Forgotten Realms, but more based on real-world kingdoms and languages) It has sword fights, titans, undead and demons.
