ok sooo i'm back to editing Reborn. :]I got yet ANOTHER rejection on my query. :(
Aaannd I'm still kinda/sorta working on Jump. Although I'm trying to focus more on editing right now.
July should be renamed Rejection month. I got two of them. Back to the drawing board and hoping August will earn the name Acceptance month.
ha, i agree. only i got EIGHT rejections!! haha.yes i hope so >_<
At least we're trying, right? And mail of any kind in the mailbox gives me a sense of being noticed! :D
yep :] haha yes any response is better than no response i suppose. XDoh btw everybody – i'm going to cape cod tomorrow and i won't be back for a week ... just fyi :P
Have a great time at the cape. I'm off to L.A. for the SCBWI conference. Yippee!

anyway, i'm in cape cod right now. and i've gotten some writing done. mostly editing of Reborn, but i've written a little bit more of Jump. :] that's about it ...

But, I too was happy with the outcome. The top pairs of girls and guys were outstanding this year.
As to your rejections...are they posting any comments? Hang in there...you are getting closer to a yes, I can feel it :]
I wasn't a huge Evan fan, to be honest. Yes, he was adorable and a great dancer; I liked him in the beginning, but I didn't think he deserved to make it as far as he did. The other dancers were a lot more ... powerful, I thought. I really wanted Ade to win, but Jeanine was my second-favorite so I was happy. :) I loved Kayla and Brandon, too. :]No, not really any useful comments. Just the usual, "This isn't right for us at this time" crap. lol. But I'm sending out more letters and hoping for the best. *crosses fingers*

XD hahaahhh i said "Thank you very much for considering REBORN. I am currently revising parts of the manuscript, but I have attached the current draft. Thanks again for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing back from you."
and then she said i could finish editing so i said "Thank you for your patience! I expect to finish revising within a month, and I will send you my manuscript then."
