Day 60(March 1)

Not that great, but I wrote SOMETHING. And the WC was cool. 222 words of a dialogue scene that i had to write.
Oh, and a plot outline. 154 words.
Both were for the creative writing enrichment.
Day 62(March 3)
Finished the dialogue scene. 82 words.
Day 63(March 4)
Started a short story (again for the enrichment).
The four failed starts (they didn't really work for me...) add up to 410 words.
the story that i decided to actually make my short story is 451 words. that means that I have to write about 550 words to finish it, because it's supposed to be 1000 words.
Day 64(March 5)
Nada
Day 65 (March 6)
Nothing
Day 66(March 7)
Once again, no writing. I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED TO GET BACK ON TRACK!

I am unable to "message" you, so I have to post this urgent message here.
Somehow one of Roni's "birthday wishes" images has been switched.
The image in question is on the following thread and is two images below the twitty bird photo.

I have contacted the site Admins, to let them know that Roni DID NOT post THAT picture, and have requested that they remove the image.
Seems like everyone is on the West coast. So, anyway, just wanted to let you two know, as you are the only ones who can delete the image or the post :)

One of the amazing, and wonderfully understanding, Goodreads Admins just messaged me. He deleted the image in question. Trust me when I say that it was NASTY!
A special thank you must go out also to Wendy, who happened upon the switched image late last night and messaged me about it.
Just a suggestion, perhaps we can have a post somewhere that reminds members to check the actual "website" carefully, before "grabbing" and "posting" an innocent image or image link.
Also, I was adamant with the Admins that the image was switched AFTER it was originally posted. And that the original image was very innocent and posted in innocence.
If you have any questions concerning what happened, please feel free to "message" me.
Bottom line, the nasty image has been deleted and all is well in Whoville again :)

ROni- I'm not sure how this site works, but I've seen other groups with 3 monitors. DO you think it would be possible to grant Dee emergency deleting powers since you both are apparently on the West coast and Dee (being farther East) can take care of any yucks before the sun rises in your side of the world? It might be good to have someone watching your back. - stelle check out dee's post on "K's hopfully..." thread to find out how the porn got switched with the cake.

It was just odd timing (or actually GREAT timing, as we were the only two in the group who saw the image...thanks for the mind eraser by the way).
When I "talked" to the Admins, they agreed that what happened was really rare, and as long as everyone is careful of where they grab their images from, we should be safe ;]
Thanks again for contacting me, as I am up at odd hours of the morning and evening. Love my Job! Where else can you get up at 3 am and go to work in your PJs?

I never get to go anywhere. The farthest east I've been is Chicago. And Florida, but I was 5, so that doesn't count.

And paige, the farthest WEST I've been is Chicago. The farthest north... Mackinac Island, I think. Maybe canada, but I don't know if we were more east or more north... Farthest south is DC (as well as farthest east, but that's about as east as you can get in this country), which means that I have never been to florida. I'm one of thee only ones in my school.

Hi Veronica, Sorry you are having a hard time.What is working? It is awesome that you were able to do 250/d in January. However I think it is normal to get stuck for many reasons. Perhaps having an alternate challenge for the rough times to get you through. The number we have is just a game with ourselves, to write is the thing.

Maybe, Roni, you should take a little break, then come back to it. I understand about being busy 100%, but it's important not to give up on your goals. Maybe you just need to regroup with yourself, you know?
Veronica- I'm mommy-ing 11 puppies for the next several weeks so writing today is...0, but! Dee says THINKING about your characters counts too- so just think about it and when something good hits you- jot a note down about it so you can remember it later when you have time to write something. :)

Oh, guess what! I wrote a whole THIRD OF A PAGE extra today! YAY! And I wrote two scenes. The first one was like, half a page. It would have been shorter, but I had Jackie interact with the U-scan attendant. And then Jackie got home, and got into an argument with her ten year old sister, then with her fifteen year old brother. She said some nasty stuff to both of them. She even called her younger sister a b**** which I DID NOT SEE COMING! Oh, by the way, Jackie is 17.
And I thought that jackie was going to be my MC, but now I'm not so sure... I think that she might just have to be a co MC with a second plot that intertwines that her brother stars in. :)
