The Orphan, The Soulcathcer, and The Black Blizzard by Kimberlee Ann Bastian

Genre: YA contemporary fantasy

Tour Dates: This tour will start June 1st and end June 30th. As of right now I would like to not book weekend dates, but if you really want to post of the weekend let me know. Open dates are 6/7, 6/12, 6/17, 6/19, 6/20, 6/21, 6/22, 6/25, 6/27, 6/29, and 6/30

Synopsis:

“The Orphan, the Soulcatcher, and the Black Blizzard”. It is a YA contemporary fantasy, which unlike current popular books in the genre it has a setting that takes place in the American past. There are no vampires, werewolves, or witches. Instead, it blends the melting pot of American folklore with Victorian overtones and Dickens-like expansiveness. Think Oliver Twist, but in Chicago with touch of fantasy to it. Below is the official description of the book:

Most of his life, Charlie Reese has been surrounded by a loving family and all the comforts of home. But when a house fire claims them, he and his cousin, Jimmy are sent to an orphanage in the heart of ‘Depression Era’ Chicago. A year later, Charlie’s life is shaken by yet another tragedy and with it comes the mysterious introduction of a secretive runaway, named Bartholomew. As Charlie begins to discover more about his new companion, he unknowingly becomes a participant in a two-hundred year old secret. Come the morning of the Black Blizzard, Charlie finds he must make a choice – flee the destiny laden at his feet or take on his responsibility and follow a path full of supernatural wonders.

Propheticus by Emma Daley

Genre: YA Sci-Fi Romance

Tour Dates: This tour will run June 18-29th. Open dates are 6/19, 6/20,6/21, 6/25, and 6/26

Synopsis:

This is a sci-fi romantic thriller series set in an ancient universe. Four destined characters run into each other by chance and discover their pasts connect them in a prophecy to destroy some of the universes most gruesome creatures. But will they stay alive long enough to succeed?

There is something frightening about the way a hateful, unknown creature looks back at you. The way its beady red eyes snarl at you, and it’s cheek curls with a hiss to reveal the greedy canines beneath. It is one thing to dream of this beastly creature, and it is another to have it inches from your face, its warm ungodly breath on your cheek, and its pallid gray bones reaching to devour you. My name is Aniah, and once my world was safe. But like many others throughout the universe-and here on the planet Delucia-fate would have me meet with the Mangitori de Sangue; an ancient army of blood-lusting creatures who have been frightening and devouring the inhabitants of the universe for decades. My fate brings me deep into their world. In fact, it is written somewhere-and the stories have been told long before I was ever born-of a prophecy wherein a young woman with the heart and soul of an angel will lead the universe in a victory against the Mangitori de Sangue. I am that woman. I just have to stay alive long enough to figure out how.

Brunswick by Ann Haines

Genre: A YA Fantasy.

Tour Dates: This tour will run July 23- August 3rd. Open dates are 7/25, 7/27, 7/30, 7/31, 8/2 and 8/3.

When Jonathan wakes up beside a lake bruised and bleeding, he has no idea how he got there or where “there” really is. He must try to remember how he ended up in this place and why.

When he meets Grace and a group of people that seem to want to help him, he is thrown in to a world that he doesn’t know. Haunted by visions and voices in his head, Jonathan soon realises that this world isn’t as safe as he’d hoped.

Taken from his life and asked to save a land he knows nothing about, from a menacing hooded figure, Jonathan must learn quickly to survive. As he struggles to stay alive long enough to get home he is faced with a deadly choice, Join It or Die. And when it becomes clear that so many would do anything to kill him he must stay close to those who would kill for him.

To stay alive and get home he must face the one thing he never wanted to, the figure in black. And when the hood comes down Jonathan is faced with a revelation that could break him and destroy everything he has fought for.
