Suggestions for Group Reads

Feel free to suggest any books for our group reads. We may not read all suggestions.

General Guidelines for Suggestions:
1. Books must have been published at least 3 months ago. (A lot of readers get their books from the library and it may be hard to get hold of the newest titles.)

2. Books must be available in the Cabarrus County Public Library System. Our group is affiliated with that library and many of our members get their books from there. If you would like to check if a particular book is in stock, follow this link http://library.cabarruscounty.us:8080...

If there are several suggestions, we may do a poll to decide which we will read.

I read this book several years ago and loved it! It is the best Pride and Prejudice sequel I have read and that saying a lot since I have read many. Also there is a sequel Elizabeth and Darcy Days and Nights at Pemberley.

I have two books to recommend- The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani and My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira.
