Hi Lucas, welcome to the group. You are in the right place for recommendations. I'm sure your reading list will explode. I love the Sherlock Holmes stories. I'm also a big Hercule Poirot fan.
If you need help with anything just give a shout. You can also look in the "Techno Corner" folder for help with posting reviews and messages, etc.

Welcome Val. I think a lot of us got started with Nancy Drew and/or The Hardy Boys. I recently bought The Secret of The Old Clock & The Hidden Staircase, which I will re-read this summer. Flash to the past!

Thank you both for the kindness!
Hayes, a long time ago I started to read Agatha Christie, but I never ended the book... It was a
Miss Marple story!
Anyway, all the I spend here is a lot of fun!

Ahhh... another flash to the past. Rainy summer days, sharing the sofa with my mom, each of us with a book and a glass of iced tea. *bliss*
Thanks for the nudge to the memory, Kari.

My name is Lucas, I'm a college student and I live in Fortaleza, CE, Brazil.
I'm new to this wonderful world of literature, and since I discovered this new passion, I just can't stop reading!
I'm always looking for a new thriller/crime book, so than I thought this would be a great group to join! =D
The first crime novels I read were the Sherlock Holmes ones!
I'm still a little lost about how a group works, but I hope to understand it soon!
