Hancock (Will Smith...I know it's a movie) defeats Rincewind through indifference by not chasing him.
Haha, alright fair enough. The Dark man from The Stand defeats Hancock's indifference through haunting his dreams with nightmares.
Harry Dresden defeats the Dark Man's nightmares through insomnia...that dude never sleeps. Half the time in his books he's up days in a row going "I don't have time to sleep!"
Ive never read it, The Dresden Files right? Marvin from the Hitchhikers Guide defeats Harry Dresden's insomnia with very depressing stories that cause him to drink himself unconscious.
(Wow I could have used Harry here to, he's king of the wise crack...oh well)Elvis Cole ( from Robert Crais books) defeats Marvin's extreme tiresomeness with his string of horrible jokes....that he thinks are funny.
(we need more people in on this, seems like a good game)Sherlock Holmes defeats Elvis Cole by over analyzing his terrible jokes and deducing his personality defects (as well as what he had for breakfast last Tuesday).
The problem is that people will have to scan the group to see what's new. Hopefully some others will find it soon.... till then,Eddie (from King's Dark Tower series) defeats Holmes' logic as he did the logic and intelligence of Blane the Mono...with horrible illogical riddles. (example:Why did the dead baby cross the road? Because he was stapled to the chicken.)
Beldin from The Mallorean defeats Eddie's illogical riddles by threatening to rip out his entrails with a white hot hook...while showing him the hook.
Hi MrsJ.wow, intense...
Mab(Winter Queen) chills Beldin's hook thus defeating him, and depressing him all at once.
Hi, Sensei! Beldin is an...interesting character. You'd like him, he's more than a bit of a curmudgeon.
Aslan (the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe) defeats Mab by simply being himself - which melts her chill and brings springtime and happiness.
Hey!!!! No one can defeat Aslan, no fair!!!!Paksenarrion comes to an accommodation with him by agreeing with his point of view.
Beldin is a great character. Awesome series.O'Brien from 1984 defeats the accommodating Paksenarrion in Room 101 by convincing him to love Big Brother.

:-D
You're breaking the flow. Her / him / itO'Brien from 1984 defeats the accommodating Paksenarrion in Room 101 by convincing him to love Big Brother.
(Paks is a her)The Pigs from Animal Farm defeat O'Brien by convincing all the other animals that he's a new farmer coming to take over...

Yup. I'm aware of that since its been said three times now.
Thanks for contributing!
Alex from A Clockwork Orange defeats the Pigs by barbequeing them alive as his droogs dance around in white long johns.
Robert wrote: "Yup. I'm aware of that since its been said three times now. Thanks for contributing!"
Oh. It didn't seem that you knew since you made a point to call Paks a him twice....
Play nice everyone...The Soprano Sorceress uses her ability to reproduce a collection of Beethoven (Ludwig van) thus defeating Alex as he's overcome by it.
Nah see message 13 and 16 are the same. Message 16 is what you call a 'requote'. Can we get on with the game now instead of stressing over object pronouns for Christ sake.Tom Stein from Agent to the Stars defeats the Soprano by getting her/him/it a recording contract at a third rate label thus allowing her to drift into obscurity.
Cheesy One:Rand al Thor defeats Tom Stein by destroying his thread using a beam of Balefire thus removing him from the current space/time continuum.
Holden Caulfield of The Catcher in the Rye defeats Rand al Thor through his desire to be removed from the current space / time continuum and its cheesiness.
