I found it sweet that after Thomasina’s daughter Annabel died she got close to Wayne and even went as far as to sending him postcards every month while she was away at teacher’s college. Treadway has been pushing Wayne to be more like him when it’s clear that Wayne doesn’t want that. Wayne’s way of thinking is also beginning to become more clear at this point.
