Ethan is one of three brothers whom lived near a dangerous cavern where they roamed as children until their was a accident that changed all their lives.
Audra was a young woman sold by her father to an older man for a gambling debt yet she was married and had two small children, Her life was made better by a sister by marriage and then she met Ethan with his wonderful smile that she wanted to keep on his face.
He has an unusual fondness for the caves thus "Quirkiness" to me...
