Ebooks - Amazon vs Google Play

Do you read ebooks? I have an iPod and Kindle and read on both.
I've noticed recently that its often cheaper to buy Australian published titles at Google Play than at Amazon

For example right now The Mothers' Groupby Fiona Higgins is $7.26 at Amazon but only $4.99 at Google Play

North Star by Karly Lane is just $1.99 at Google Play and $3.63 at Amazon

It's not true for all (especially books published by Hachette and Penguin) but it looks like significant savings can be made.

Where do you shop for ebooks?

Amazon and Smashwords Shelleyrae. But I don't pay anymore than about $3...I'm a skinflint...lol

I have Google Play on my phone and never even thought to look to buy books through that. Have been using Amazon Kindle app to read through.
