is this an artemis book that everyone missed or something?

If I remember correctly (I read it a few years ago), it's just a little side story book Eoin Colfer threw in for fun. Kind of like J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Sort of. It's certainly not important if you're only interested in the rest of the series, but something cute to pick up if you have some free time. It's a very quick read.

Um, this isn't the 7th book. unfortunately. But the actual 7th book is coming out in Summer 2010. This is a short story written in the same format. It's like Mini-Artemis Fowl # 2 and a 1/2 (Or is it #1 and a 1/2?)

Because every author likes for their fans to sit in suspense. I would much rather an author who says he won't write any more books for a series but does, than an author who says he will write another book but doesn't.

I say this as an author who's hoping to be published sometime in the not-to-distant future.

I don't know, but the Time Paradox was awful (probably because he was working on the Airman, but still), and I hope he writes a next one to redeem himself.

And I agree with Cassiopia. There is nothing as exciting as finding another book in your favorite series =)

It IS in the Artemis Fowl files. I've read it... I didn't find it as fun as the OTHER story in the Artemis Fowl files... (LEPrecon- it's about how Holly became a recon officer)
