She smiles:"Nice to meet you Keely,I'm Isobell. This is my first day here too.Don't say that so loudly, she might actually steal your powers this time."She laughs and looks at Athena.

message 102: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely smiled kindly.
She frowned suddenly as she looked at Athena and Noel talking. "I really thought she was nice," she said in barely a whisper.
"I guess this place has more secrets than we can expect."

message 103: by [deleted user] (new)

Isobell looks at Athena and Noel, and says in a quiet, small voice:"Mhmm.I though so too.And anyway, what did she mean when she said that she was only doing what someone told her to do?You're right, this place does has secrets.Well,at least people do."She smiled crookedly.

message 104: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely hadn't thought of that.
"She must be acting on some-one's orders...but whose? Is there somebody evil at The Academy? Or maybe outside it?"
This possibility didn't frighten Keely too much - instead, it intrigued her.
"I'd like to find out more, but how? Lolitia seems stern enough, and even so I doubt that I'd get anything out of her..." she said, thinking.

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

Isobell's eyes widen in surprise and then she smiles."We could...you know, investigate,"she looks at Keely with questionable look all over her face."But it would be hard, with no other friends inside of the school. And,maybe that "someone" who's giving her orders doesn't even go to this school. We could ask around, but we'll have to be careful not to raise suspicion. And yeah,I definitely wouldn't ask Lolita anything. Not to be rude, but she looks like she's got secrets of her own."Isobell smirks at the door where Lolita disappeared. She became happy with an idea of snooping around this secretive, mysterious place full of unusual creatures.

message 106: by Hanna (last edited Oct 28, 2012 01:08PM) (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments "They do." Athena said as she watched Noel. She didn't really find him that attractive. She could defiantly tell that he was a bad boy though.

message 107: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (SORRY!>)

Lolita nods and places her hand on Will's cheek, "Sounds good to me." She smiles slowly taking him in. It has been a few weeks since she last saw his beautiful eyes and face. Not to mention...other areas of interest.

(Wow. THanks Hanna! *faux outrage*)

Noel glances at Isobel and Keely talking and places a hand on Isobel's arm, "Are we planning an investigation? I know a lot of this place's secrets. I could help you guys out. It's always nice to have a strong man around to help out, but not for protection. You girls don't need protecting." He smirks and nudges his knee against Athena's again, "As long as we get back at two particular girls in the process of course. One girl to look out for is Destiny. You don't want her knowing anything. She's bad news."

message 108: by Hanna (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments "She is?" Athena asked Noel curiously. "I thought she was to goodie goodie to be 'bad news'."

message 109: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Noel makes a wierd face and nudges Isobel with his elbow, "Being a goodie goodie is bad news to begin with, plus....she isn't who she says she is, but beyond that, I will not elaborate."

message 110: by Hanna (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments "I never would have thought that goodie goodie could be bad news. Should a bad boy like you be the bad news?" Athena said, glancing from Isobell to Noel.

message 111: by Ciara (last edited Oct 28, 2012 01:22PM) (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely nodded. "We should wait a while, though, until we find out some more. Maybe we could ask a more...straightforward teacher questions about evil magic later. We'll have to find out who that is, though!" she ended with a slight laugh.

Keely narrowed her eyes at Noel's comment. Once he had looked away, she murmered, "He knows something. He definitely knows something."

message 112: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) "I am, but that's besides the point. I'm only bad news for certain people, otherwise, I'm just bad news for humans...actually your kind of right. I am bad news." He smirks at her wondering not for the first time, if he should keep his distance from people. He was bad, but....nevermind.

message 113: by Hanna (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments (I love the 'but....nevermind'.)

"That's what I thought." Athena said giving him a playful smirk. "People are beginning to think that I'm bad news. Do I seem like a bad news type?" She wondered, darkness filled then left her eyes.

message 114: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (Lol. I forgot what I was going to type. Lol.)

"Naw..." he nudges her knee again with his. There was seriously something wrong with him. He can never keep still for too long. "You don't really seem to be the type to be on the rampage. It's kinda disappointing in a way. I was looking forward to your display of power suckage."

message 115: by Hanna (last edited Oct 28, 2012 02:19PM) (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments Athena looked closely at him. He doesn't know anything 'bout my past. Athena thought. Maybe I could show him. She got up and sat down next to him. "Wanna play a game?" She whispered into his ear.

message 116: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Noel smirks a little to himself at her forward display. Yes being with her would be fun. Funner than being with Jess but Jess was inclusive and aloof of him and his intentions. Athena isnt which gives him sweet relief. He could play her game as he has played countless games of other wome for thousands of years and the funny thing is? He always won and they almost always lost. He leans his shoulder next to Athena and tucks a sensuious lock of her hair behind her ear. His fingers graze her cheeks in the process as his lips skim her ear. "I enjoy a good game."

message 117: by Hanna (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments Athena shivered slightly under his touch. It was a cool, mysterious touch. Athena locks her eyes with his. "When Lolita lets us out of class we will play the game." She gives him a mysterious smile.

message 118: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) "Why not play it now? Be bad Athena. Skip class with me?" He says it as a question trying to appeal to her darker side if she even had one.

message 119: by Hanna (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments "Alright. Wouldn't be the first time I've skipped class." She says. "Where you like to play the game?" She asks playfully.

message 120: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) "Anywhere you are." Noel answers simply wanting to get out of the room before Lolita came back and catch him being in the wrong classroom. Something none of the girls in class seemed to catch up on.

message 121: by Hanna (last edited Oct 28, 2012 03:03PM) (new)

Hanna SwampDonkey | 511 comments "Alright." Athena says as she stands. She reaches for Noels hand a little hesitant. She locks her fingers threw his, closes her eyes. "Take me to the Coffee Shop." She whispers, then snaps her fingers. She could smell the coffee beans from the Coffee Shop, she knew once she opened her eyes they would be there.

message 122: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (Off to the coffee!)

message 123: by [deleted user] (new)

Isobell looks at them in silence, listening to their conversation, thinking about her past. Her face twitches in disgust as she remembers a particular person she's been trying to forget for four long years. She looks at Noel and Athena disappearing, and whispers:"He better not...".

message 124: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (He better not what?)

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

Hannah wrote: "(He better not what?)"

Keely nodded.

Lol,sorry:S

message 126: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita smiles and nods. "It's different and I haven't done something like this in forever. It feels good to finally be doing something that I enjoy. Why? You looking to get rid of me already?" Lolita smirks and kisses his cheek giving him a tiny frost kiss.

message 127: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely gasped a little.
"Tell me they didn't just do that!" She said with a grimace.

message 128: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (Lol. They did.)

message 129: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (You rp reply too fast lol.)

Lolita scoffs lightly as she smiles at him. "And why would you ever want to grt rid of me?"

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

Isobell scratches her hair lightly, looking at the empty space. "Uhm,I guess they did."She turns to Keely."I guess they were bored too? That's a brillinat idea to skip a class by the way."She grins at Keely.

message 131: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely laughed lightly.
"I'm rather bored, too, but I'd never...I wouldn't dare..." she shakes her head in disbelief.
"Lolitia should really proceed with the class; I hoped to learn something really interesting today. Or at least learn other people's methods of magic." Keely frowned, unable to hide her disappointment.

message 133: by [deleted user] (last edited Oct 29, 2012 04:29PM) (new)

"Don't be disappointed. We did learn something...We learned how to skip a class."She smirks and then she grimaces.

"Yeah,I was hoping to learn something too..."...something that could change my whole life...She looks up at Keely, trying, and failing,to smile.

message 134: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita frows at Will. "I have a class to teach." She opens the door and reenters. She glances around the room and frowns. "For those of you that decided not to ditch while I had to speak to the headmaster. You will be learning how to defend yourself with a clear magic shield. It will only block magical attacks not physical. Turn to page 235. It states and I quote "to build your invisible shield focus on your natural energy state and errect the concept of a shield in your mind using only natural power to deflect attacks end quote. Questions?"

message 135: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely smiled, then stopped. Something was wrong...
Just then, Lolitia spun round. Keely flicked to the correct page and began to read over it in her head.

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

Isobell stared at Lolita in awe.She thought for a minute then clears her throat and asks in curious voice, trying to hide her excitement:"What happens if someone actually steals your power? Can you retrieve it?Are you going to teach us about that too?"

message 137: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely bit her lip, half afraid of what Lolitia was going to say in reply, but she had to admit that she was excited about the topic, too.

message 138: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (Awe. Poor Will.)

Lolita narrows her eyes at Isobell, "First, do your assignment, then if there is time before class or after class. We will discuss that, but first, I want to make sure that everyone actually learns something first." She snaps her book to its own page and starts writing notes to be copied onto the blackboard.

message 139: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely began to scrawl the notes without hesitation. She only needed the look at the blackboard once to memorise the notes, using a memory spell.

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh we've learned enough, you can bet on it."Isobell whispers quietly with a soft sigh, her eyes twinkling,as she gets her book from the bag and starts writing.

message 141: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita wipes the chalk from her hands feeling good from the mental drain of doing something mundane. She turns back to her class of two and waits for them to finish copying the notes.

message 142: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments On a now happier note, Keely finished taking notes and looked at Lolitia, prepared for the remainder of the class ahead.

message 143: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita rests her hand on her desk before addressing the class, "Now what are your questions?"

message 144: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments (On stealing magic?)

Keely raised her hand shakingly. "How is magic stolen? Is there a way to prevent it from happening?" She questioned.

message 145: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) (Yes.)

Lolita sits on her desk looking delicate, but deadly. "Magic is stolen everyday by people who have the power to drain others of their life force, whether it is youth, emotions, or magic. The only way to with stand the drainage is to build up a shield to it that will stay in place at all times, even when you are not thinking about it, but that is strong magic. Even an expert like myself has a hard time keeping it up at all times. Everyone is vunerable to something."

message 146: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Keely nodded acknowledgably.
" I see," she began.
"And does the spell have side effects, or has cons as well as pros?" She asked.

message 147: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita furrows her brow a little, "Well, those with draining abilities are usually crueler than most and enjoy toying with others who are defenseless against them; however, if one is a drainer, one most drain often in order to survive. Draining is as vital as breathing for them."

message 148: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments Understanding, Keely nodded and smiled a little.
"Ah, I get it," she assured Lolitia. "Is there a distinctive way a person will drain, so that the 'victim' will have a chance to defend themself?"

message 149: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (normalgirl) Lolita glances at the door with concentration, before frowning sadly at Keely, "Sadly, most people do not feel the drain. You have to train yourself to feel what is missing."

message 150: by Ciara (new)

Ciara | 138 comments "I see," Keely said quietly.
She looked down at her desk, visualising being drained. She shuddered slightly.
