Today am going to start reading Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan. So Penny lets compare notes later...lol
It's not paranormal at all, but I am starting the newDan Brown book, The Lost Symbol today! I have been really excited for this book to come out!
Mary - have you listened to the other Patricia Briggs books on audio? Or is this your first time reading Moon Called? That's one of my favorite series! I also really like the audio and was happy when Moon Called was released. Hopefully soon they'll have #2 and #3 on audio too!
This is the first time I have read Moon Called, I am about 3/4 of the way through and really like it. I have a long commute to work so audio books are great for me. I hope they release the other ones soon!!
The first book, if angels burn was really good, and private demon is good so far, i really like that some of the characters from the first are showing up on this one, have u read any from this serie?

Vivi - the fever series is mostly about the Fae. They are a really great, edgy urban fantasy series. Personally I recommend that you read the author's Highlander series first, because the worlds do overlap and you learn things that I think are helpful in figuring out what's happenening in the fever series. BTW, the Highlander ones are definetly PNR, while the Fever series is UF. So, very different! You don't have to read the Highlander ones to get what's going on in the Fever series, but I think that a lot of questions are answered if you do!

Vivi wrote: "The first book, if angels burn was really good, and private demon is good so far, i really like that some of the characters from the first are showing up on this one, have u read any from this serie?"Yeah, I've read the whole series, loved it! I can't wait until her new series is out. :D
Shadowlight A Novel of the Kyndred. Once you get farther along in the Darkyn series, you'll meet the Kyndred. :D I was so disappointed to learn that the Darkyn series was ending, but this takes place in the same universe, so there's potential for some vamps to show up, hehe.
Kyndred is an interesting name, i dont like to read books that dont have good titles. A girl from another group is reading one called Mango Shaped Space, but it might be good you never know.
I really liked the Darkyn series too. I thought it got much better with each book. I'm looking forward to her new series.

Cool, Vivi! Hope you have fun in the group! The Kyndred is the name of the species/series, if that helps. Shadowlight is the actual name of the book.
I'm feeling the need for something different, so I'm reading The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry. I've heard it had a "Sixth Sense"-like twist at the end.

I've joined the masses and just finished Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. It was pretty good. I'm going out to the library today to get the next ones in the series. I must say, Dimitri is yummy :)
Cherra wrote: "alright sarah--looking forward to how you feel about The Lace Reader."I've got about 100 pgs. left to go, but I think I see part of where it's going. I think I get the "twist" that reviewer was talking about. This is a really good book, though, and I'm enjoying it.
Just started If Angels Burn.. it's not bad so far.. more going on with surgery and stuff than anything paranormal or anything. But it's good.
Jess wrote: "Just started If Angels Burn.. it's not bad so far.. more going on with surgery and stuff than anything paranormal or anything. But it's good."I really liked this series. I had to struggle with the first book but thought the series gets better as it goes.
Finished the 4th Vampire Diaries book, the best so far, IMHO. And almost finished with
, the newest from one of my favorite mystery series. Haven't decided what to pick up next.
I think that I really need to read something other than fantasy right now! I've kinda been on fantasy overload. The new Vince Flynn book, Pursuit Of Honor, comes out next month. So I think that I am going to go back and reread the entire series! One of my favorites!!!
I just started Holy Smokes by Katie MacAlister and Pride by Rachel Vincent. Tomorrow I get a whole bunch of books I can't wait to read from the library:
Well of Shades - Juliet Marillier
Wolfskin - also Juliet Marillier
Dexter in the Dark - Jeffry Lindsay
Grave Peril - Jim Butcher
I just finished reading Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. It is excellent and I can't wait until late May for the next book to come out. It is very intense and one of those books that you HATE to put down.
Finally finished Stray, and in an attempt to finish some challenges I started a bunch of books last night. I'm going to keep reading a couple of chapters from each until one grabs me. I have a feeling that Georgina's book will be the one I finish first.[image error]

I just finished Dark Slayer. The couple it was centered on was ok, but I did like the fact that Feehan moved the storyline along. I am just about finished with The Forest of Hands and Teeth. Then I will start Hunting Ground.

I think i have an idea of what might go down.

Slave to Sensation by Nalini SinghInteresting mix of paranormal and sci-fi
and Dorothy Dunnett's The Game of kings.
I finished
, which is the first in Del Franco's new Laura Blackstone series. Story was a bit hard to follow. I've read the first 2 books in his Connor Grey series and thought they were better, but books that deal with just the fae aren't my favorite thing to read anyway. Currently reading
and
, which I have had a really hard time getting into.
