Looking for a good vampire series!

I really want to read some good vampire stories...but they need to be either YA or not to explicit. I tried Vampire Acadamy but didn't like it. So any suggestions?

Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine is okay. There's twelve books but I've only read the first two. They're decent and YA.

I have had a lot of trouble finding vampire novels that fit my liking. I have contemplated the Morganville series as mentioned above, but haven't had a chance to look into them. A friend of my husband's suggested I try them after she read my book because she said it reminded her of them :)

One of my favorites is Chicagoland Vampires and it isn't overly explicit. Start with

What about the Drake Chronicles by Alyxandra Harvey? They are really fun reads and not explicit at all and YA.

Also the Blue Blood series by Melissa De La Cruz. there is a lot of brand name dropping in them which some people don't like but I really enjoyed the series (there is one more book to be released I believe next year). They are good and something way different.
