Questions for the Mongoliad authors!

Several questions:
1. How effective is this for them as a marketing tool as compared to the traditional way of getting their work out.
2. What are the pros and cons of collaborating with other authors to make a serial novel, and how do you resolve the editing of the final format to release as a full novel.

Was there a "team leader" for the project? Or how was work delegated to the collaborators?
Where does personal preference and style come in?
Thanks

Thanks!

o) Was there any discussion of whose writing "style" should/could/would predominate? (e.g., Neal Stephenson's writing style is quite different from Greg Bear's; how did you integrate them?)
o) With a geographically diverse group of writers, how did you manage to make sure that all the authors had experience with the weaponry and WMA fighting styles?
o) Of the non-core-writing group input during the development process (i.e., schmucks like me posting to the Mongoliad forums), how much of our input did you end up using?
o) For people who have a continuing interest in WMA, what resources do you recommend? (BTW, the documentary "Reclaiming the Blade" is excellent.)
As someone who subscribed to The Mongoliad in web form on its launch day in September 2010, but who hasn't kept up with news about future plans, I'm wondering if you intend to continue using the serial format for upcoming installments in the Foreworld universe. I, for one, quite enjoyed having a new chapter made available to read at fairly regular intervals over a long period of time.
Secondly, when the project launched, there was talk of how the community could get involved in the story. I was initially very active on the forums and wiki, but over time drifted into a passive role, reading the official content but not contributing much, and in my time among the community didn't see a great deal of community involvement beyond the wiki, some proofreading, and a small amount of original artwork. How did that aspect of the Mongoliad compare to your original plans, which seemed to include people writing their own stories set in the same universe?

Then Veronica is awesome and efficient :)
P.S. I am also an idiot...
Six of the seven authors of the Mongoliad will be joining us in a (potentially live!) Google Hangout tomorrow evening, including Neal Stephenson!! Greg Bear will not be able to make it, unfortunately.
Do you have any questions you'd like to ask? Let us know! And sorry for the short notice! We'll let you know if there's a live hangout you can watch tomorrow!
UPDATE: There will be a live Google Hangout / YouTube OnAir video that you can watch as it happens! We'll update everyone with the link here and on Twitter.
