He smiled and put his hand over hers.

He caught her gaze, and gave her a concerned look. "What's wrong?"
He eyed her. "I don't think what just happened a moment ago is 'nothing.' Seriously, what are you thinking?"
He nodded and stayed silent. He rolled out of her bed. "Well you know what I'm thinking? I need some sleep. Night." He went over to his bed and plopped on his back.
He turned off the light and pulled the covers up to his chin. He layed on his side so he could stare at the wall. Jev wasn't asleep yet.
Jev thought. He felt bad and a pit of guilt settled in his stomach.
He felt guilty. Did I go to far? Did I offend her? Oh god I bet I did. I guess mom and dad were right.. He inhaled deeply. Okay, tomorrow I will make no contact and avoid her as much as I can. He nodded at his decision.
Jev forced himself to close his eyes, and he fell asleep dreamlessly. The next morning, he woke up early and was sitting down.
He was in the passengar cart, looking out the window. He ignored the guilt in his decision.
He nodded silently, still looking out the window.
He stood up and tried not to make eye contact. He realized he was slightly nervous. I can't avoid her if she keeps coming. This is going to be harder than I thought. Jev's irritation grew.
He pryed her hand of slowly. "Can't it wait until later?"
He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. "Fine. What is it?" he said tightly.
He looked at her, speechless. Jev smiled a bit and pulled her in a hug. "I thought you hated me."
"You touched my cheek, then pulled away. I asked you what was wrong and you wouldn't tell me."
He nodded and kissed the top of her head. "No worries."
He smiled and pressed a finger on his lips. He leaned her ear over his heart, so she could listen. "Do you know now?" He tilted her head up and kissed her.
He broke the embrace and studied her face.
He returned the smile and took a strand of her hair. He twirled it around with his fingers.
He smiled and cupped her cheek. "And you know, your th eonly person that made me this happy."
He looked at his hand in surprise. "Wow. I forgot about that." He took of the bandage. "I can't believe you remembered about that."
He put an arm around her and leaned back, silently.
He smiled a bit. A question popped in his mind. He looked down at her. "Can I ask you a question?"
"How different do you think things will be when we go home?"
He smirked. "Saphire. I could take on your boyfriend. Apparently, you should see the people I lived with."
He laughed as if was the best joke ever. "Again. You still don't know who I lived with after my parents. I promise you, that won't happen." He put an 'x' over his heart. Jev smiled cheekily. "The people I lived with, criminals, rebels all of that kind."
He looked at her curiously. "Reallly? What is it?"
He smiled and wrapped an arm around her. "I guess that wish solves all our problems."
He turned his head to look out the window. "I guess we have a couple of more days left." He said, looking back at her.
He held her silently. Jev smiled to himself.
"That's a no brainer. Remember when I hurt my hand, and you helped me? I guess it started from that and basically..grew further."
He smiled. "When we get back, do you..want to meet her?"
He put his chin on thetop her head, inhaling her scent. "Tired?"
"Mhmm..me too. You smell good, by the way."
He chuckled softly. "I have an idea..."
"I think I might play a trick on the conductor later.."
He smiled mischevously. "Sorry. No spoilers."
He shook his head. "There's only one way you can get hints out of me." He said, smiling.
"Okay fine. You know those little mocrophone things that the passenger speaks in and the message goes straight to the conductor? I'm going to do a simple prank for now. Basically a phone tap."
He smiled. "Later. I'll cease the time I have left."
