Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments I am currently on Netgalley.com, and have followed the instructions on how to get Kindle formatted books sent to my Kindle.

Added their address to acceptable senders and the whole nine yards, and now that I have books coming in that way, I can not get them and they aren't appearing on my Kindle.

Anyone having this issue? Know how to resolve it? Help!

Diane U (djuseless) Did you give NetGalley your regular email address or your kindle email address? You should have used the kindle address (yourname@kindle.com). To find out the kindle email address, to go Amazon.com, then go to Manage Your Kindle, then go to Manage Your Devices. The address is listed under Send-to-Kindle email address.

If you gave NetGalley the right address, make sure that you selected the kindle button after your have been approved for a title on the right hand side when you click on the book name in My Home on NetGalley.

Finally, make sure you turn your kindle's whispernet on to receive it! I hope this helps!

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments I've triple checked it all :(

Gave my kindle address, added kindle@netgalley.com to my acceptable addresses, have had my Kindle on the charger all day with the whispernet on (wi-fi connection at the moment not the 3G as I'm at home). I've still not received any of the books.

Syahira go to the kindle.com and then see if the book is in the archive or if you've allowed netgalley.com to your kindle account. I'm on netgalley too and the book came speedy under a couple second.

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments Nope :( None of them are in the archives, and I've allowed Netgalley.com for my Kindle account.

Syahira when you received publisher's accepted emails, just go to netgalley My Reviews > and select the approved book

You'll find this side bar and click Kindle

You'll get this popup

Then go to kindle.com and keep refreshing every couple second and your book will be updated in the archive

select deliver to your kindle from this

Just be on your safe side, add @free.kindle.com to your netgalley profile. make sure the username is right.

And double check the address on kindle

if all fails.. just email the netgalley people support@netgalley.com

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments I'm going to try that, and see if I can get it to work, otherwise I am not sure what is going on.

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments I got it! I switched the email from @kindle.com to @free.kindle.com and got it!

message 9: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 370 comments it might have been that you have your @kindle.com set to not accept anything with charges, so it won't send stuff wirelessly that will cost money, but because the other one is free it went right though

Caedy Eries (karida) | 42 comments yeah, got it figured out, and now I can't use netgalley until I can replace my Kindle as it got stolen :(
