*Just as the words exit my lips, a newspaper vendor approaches me*
"Journal, Monsieur?" He holds up a newpaper.
Uh, no thank you.
"Oui, Monsieur. Journal." He shoves the newspaper towards me.
No, I am fine. Uh, no money... money, uh...ar--gent.
He ignores me and smiles. "Oui, Monsier." He grabs my hand, opens it and places the newspaper into my palms.
"For you." He then smiles and walks away.
Um... okay, that was strange. Until I unfold the paper and read the front page.
