Here’s the last recording.

(bad connection)
FEMALE VOICE: Boss-- it’s me
MALE VOICE: Where are you?.
FEMALE VOICE: I just traveled from South Sudan to Chad.
MALE VOICE: Silly woman! Don’t say the names on the phone. It is not safe!
FEMALE VOICE: I apologize boss. I meant to say, I traveled from the newest—
MALE VOICE: Never mind that! There is a jeep waiting for you in the capitol of Ochocinco’s first name. Take the jeep to the birthplace of Anubis, as planned. When you get there, call me. I will have those loungies meet you.
FEMALE VOICE: Yes boss, thank you for your understanding with th—.

(recording ends)

Well, he seems nice :(

So the guy with no nose is either Voldemort or the Great Sphinx. Either one seems like a valuable answer to me...

message 171: by Jack (new)

Jack | 964 comments So we're looking for the Sphinx?

message 172: by [deleted user] (new)

So, everyone needs to board a goodreads plane and fly to Egypt. However, in order for you to receive your tickets and passport, you must complete a task.

I will ask a question that has numerous answers. You only need say ONE of the answers in order to recieve your documents. Once everyone gives ONE of the correct answers and receives their docs, we can board the plane. You are not allowed to give an answer that has already been given by another player.
Ready?

Great!

There are many animals found on the continent of Africa. Some large, some small, some with wings, others are tall.

I just need you to name one of these animals. You may use the link below as a guide.

KEEP IN MIND: If someone chimes in with your answer BEFORE you, you will need to find another answer.

Good luck!

While you guys are getting your passports/tix, I just wanted to tell you that the two people that will sneak away from the group and travel to the "man with the missing nose" to find the secret agent, is going to be the first two people to figure out who that man is.

In this case, that was Mist and Jack! So, great job you two, you're going to take part in some crafty espionage... hope you're ready! :D

If you have a ticket you may move onto the next step.

For fear that you will have the authorities following you, the abductors have decided to take us through a string of tests. They haven’t told us exactly which airport we’re flying from, instead they want us to figure it out.

So, here’s the first clue they had me pass along to you. It seems easy enough:

The airport is in a country that was "discovered" in 1492.

REMEMBER: These questions are ONLY for those with passports/airline tickets.

Michelle got it first! And earns a point.

message 196: by [deleted user] (new)

So, here’s the next AIRPORT clue. This one is a tad harder:

The airport is on a coast in the U.S. that touches an ocean, touches another country and has three or more states along its coast.

REMEMBER: These questions are ONLY for those with passports/airline tickets.

it would be in the south, like florida or something because it "touches another country" a.k.a. Mexico.... at least that's my thoughts... but i don't have a passport...
