Yay! Thank you to Random House and all the admins of The History Book Club. I can't wait to read and discuss this book with everyone.
I'm so excited I'm dancing in my chair! A huge thanks to RH for this opp and to Bentley and the gang for providing a spot to discuss such great books and subjects.
Very excited to have this opportunity!! A big thank you to Randon House and to those HBC administrators that worked to set up this opportunity!! I can't wait to read this book and discuss it with everyone!!

Tim, I will remove your name and give the book to somebody else.

I am looking forward to reading & hearing/sharing thoughts about this book . Thanks for the opportunity.
Paul, thanks for your interest. However, see message 74 and 75 above, the selections for those receiving a copy of the book from RH has been made. You are welcome to procure your own copy of the book and join in the discussion when it gets started later this summer.
Alisa, as I mentioned in my DM to Bentley, I have just finished the library copy I had checked out. I deliberately waited a while to chime in here because I wanted others to get copies, but it would have been nice to have one. It is a book worth owning, and I will try to have a copy on hand for the discussion. I am looking forward to that. Hopefully I'll have consistent internet access during the days I am traveling.
Heads Up Folks,
The books are on their way and have been sent out. I received mine today.
As we discussed, we need to hear from each one of you that you have received the book. We will check you off as the books come in. I would think that some folks on the East Coast should be receiving theirs already.
Post here that you have received your book as soon as you get it and/or send me a PM. I will update the list as the books are received.
Thank you,
Bentley

Bentley, I received the book today, Takoma Park, MD. Thank you very much, I am looking forward to the discussion! Lyn.
I received my book today, June 18. I'll be going on vacation soon... it'll be my "beach read". My participation in the discussions will be via cell phone for the first week of discussions, meaning they'll be a bit terse [can't stand typing on the tiny keyboard... I'm sure many are sympathetic to that.
