I know right I finished it but the beggining was so repetitive without action but then it did get good and finick and prim dies.
What happened is that millions of us read it and enjoyed it. In my opinion, it started out boring but got exciting later. It was my least favorite of the three, but it was necessary for the completion of the story.
I hated it. Katniss goes off and marries Peeta, Gale moves to district 2 and gets som fancy job, never to be seen agian after Katniss argues over was it his bomb that killed Prim. Um... Katniss's mother moves away. Buttercup lives. Yaddaah yaddah yaddah and yeah
READ THE BOOK!!! You can't expect others to tell you what happens every time you get bored with a book!!! Sorry if you take this as mean!! I'm just a tiny bit insane when it comes to people not finishing books that I really love...
Funnily enough, I thought Mockingjay was better than Catching Fire. lolPrim dies - Katniss kills Coin - Snow also dies (but he was dying anyway) - Finnick dies - Annie has Finnick's baby son - Katniss blames Gale for Prim's death - Gale moves to district 2 - Katniss & Peeta have 2 kids - and they all live happily ever after! lol
I really liked the epilogue though, why not just read that part? lol

I think you're going to miss the entire essence of THG triology if you don't just bite the bullet and finish it.I admit I found Katniss' "illness" tiring after a point but I was driven to finish it because a) it's the end of a series and b) i really, really wanted to know what happens to Peeta.
No matter the summary people give you, there are so many little parts that truly make up the soul of the series. Finnick and Annie. The lifestyle of District 13. Peeta's return. Their undercover ops in the Capitol. Just read it; you'll thank yourself later.
I really think you should finish it. It doesn't matter if your pacing is slow. If you just read summaries you'll miss the strong emotions and important details of the story.
I got bored with it, so I stopped like halfway through, but then when the movie came out I decided to re-read the whole series and finish the third, and now I'm really glad I did. So I think you should read it. It's not fast paced like the other two (especially the first) but I still think it's good and definitely worth reading.

My favorites went in the order of the trilogy. THG=1 CF=2 M=3
