Jo Especially with people not as handsome as them.

Nels Paulson Wow i am in several different book series, and a few started within the last year or two, and each has Odin, Loki, and/or Thor in it. Not one i would paint as the ones from the Marvel universe. All of them fun though.

Lol!

Mike Mason A crossover between the HoO series and the Kane Chronicles would be amazing. I've thought this out, and it would be epic if the Egyptians and Greeks discovered each other, and they went to war after the gods of both sides began to fight (it would be based on the Trojan War). A prophetic team was formed to combine the gods and demigods- and magicians- against the true villain.

Another thing that would be amazing- if there were crossover pairings. I don't know who would be paired, but a magician and a demigod would be an epic combination.

People in the team- maybe Carter, Sadie, Zia, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and a new character who has mixed Egyptian-Greek blood. They all combine and stop the Egyptians and Greeks from fighting, and in one final epic battle, destroy whoever the villain is. Maybe it turns out to be Ra, who's being controlled by Chaos.

Wouldn't that be AMAZING?!

ϟEvelynϟ It would be incredible, for sure.

Tamara Figueroa Sadie and Carter seeing Percy and Annabeth go on!!!

Sabrina A crossover? I'm totally up for it. I've kinda been waiting for a crossover so hopefully, there's going to be one :)

Django Did you notice? In Serpant's shadow their mother's ghost says that there are other gods, and in the Throne of fire, they have Drew and Lacy from The lost hero!

ϟEvelynϟ Yup, Rick is trolling us.

message 60: by Nicole (new)

Nicole I think that there has to be some continuation to the kane chronicals but not a cross over. Percy Jackson is written in third person while the kane chronicals is in first person

Percy Jackson and the Olypmians is written in first person. The Kane Chronicles is also. The Heroes of Olympus is written in third person.

Sabrina It would still be cool if there was one.

Tess PERCY JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's a no brainer.

message 64: by Juli (new)

Juli Beawr Also... in the serpent's shadow Thoth says
"Stupid Greeks... stealing our gods"

Charbel I think since they revolve around two different mythologies, they should be separate. Yet the idea of a crossover book is tempting

Cassie Gustafson My thoughts (barely edited, but suitable for small peoples):
I think there might be a short cross-over, there IS two books left in the HoO series. Maybe the Egyptian demigods (and Anubis) show up to help out and tell the Roman and Greek demigods they aren't the only demigods(Power Ranger style? :P).

And, based on a prediction of mine, everybody freaks out because Anubis looks like Nico; and by then Nico is in Tarturus, after sacrificing himself to close the Doors of Death. Then Anubis does some God-like mumbo-jumbo stuff to pull Nico out of Tarturus(Anubis: Death kid? Underworld? God? duh?), and walla, you have yourself uh nice-uh piece uh cherry pie-uh.

'Course, I'm probably wrong. I haven't even read the Kane Chronicles. The idea of a VERY crowded world of demigods made my head spin. I mean: AREN'T ROMANS BAD ENOUGH?!? *cough* Excuse me and my Greek tendencies, but the last time Egypt, Rome, and Greece were brought together it was during the time of Roman conquering. War. Death. Not fun.

omg haha

Sarah Natalie wrote: " HatsuneMikufan wrote: "OH MY GOSH DREW IS IN SERPENT"S SHADOW!!!!!"

how do you know???????"

she's at the dance in the beginning and so is Lucy, the girl in aphrodite's cabin that first befriended Piper in the Lost Hereo, then Sadie in Serpant's Shadow

Julianna oh god! i want a crossover sooooo bad and with all the hints that rick put in about them meeting i want it to happen. I want to see how the demigods act with nico and anubis looking similar

Teagan I personally like the Percy Jackson series better. But I do think a crossover would be interesting, but impossible because many of the God's domains are similar and would be hard to incorperate together.

Maari Kailee _*A Positive Mental Sickness*_ wrote: "Omg... So, I say Roman, Greek, and Egyptian demigods all come together. I say Ra and Gaia like, team up and then the three different groups (the gods and demigods of all three) all have to stop the..."

I whole heartedly agree! BUt dont u mean Apophis and Gaea team up because Ra is good?

Lauren Stoolfire I would love to see how the Greek and Egyptian could potentially cross over! :)

ϟEvelynϟ It would be pretty interesting! Though, Rick is planning on writing his Norse Mythology series first. I wonder what that's going to be about...

that would b so epic i think i would die out of happiness for the 6 time........haha

message 75: by Cara (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cara A Percy Jackson/Kane Chronicles crossover would be awesome, but Rick Riordan probably won't do it.

message 76: by Jay (new)

Jay Cee If I'm not mistaken, there's this line in the Throne of Fire where Carter Kane was standing, looking on the window from his room. He's looking in a direction where he can see Manhattan. But there's this fog or cloud that 's covering it. Amos once told him that don't bother and leave Manhattan out of his worries. Manhattan has its own problems. Then Carter remembered that one time, he was looking there and he swear he saw a flying horse.

Maybe he saw Blackjack and Percy During the time of The Black Curse. .

message 77: by Isy (new) - rated it 4 stars

Isy H. Yes!!!!!!!

Gabriela What are you guys talking about when you say three series? Doesn't he only have two series which is the kane chronicles and heroes of olympus? what is this third one everyone is talking about?

Bailin Where is the crossover from the Brooklyn School on the Serpent's Shadow? Already passed that part and didn't noticed it. :S

Becci Mixing the Greeks and the Romans was harldy a stretch as they were extremely mixed to start with, historically, mythologically and culturally. The Egyptians are slightly more removed, but still connected.
And Riordan was fairly clear in his 'hints' that there is an upcoming battle when the Kanes and the Halfbloods will meet. Looking forward to it, myself.
And it wouldn't be too hard to bring in almost all the other old religions/myths as the most enduring myths tend to be rewrites/updates/thematic relations on older stories from a multitude of source cultures with (usually) only a few culture-specific differences.

message 81: by Krishan (new)

Krishan Patel There are two crossover books: The Son of Sobek (Percy and Carter) and The Staff of Serapis (Annabeth and Sadie).

I read both crossover books and I LOVED THEM!!!
I actually have a discussion started on The Son of Sobek for all of you who have read the crossovers that have been published so far about which characters you would have meet up in the crossovers by Rick. I'd love to see what people think about that!
