What do you think of this book if you've read or are reading this book?

I read it a few months ago. Started off promisingly enough, but then it dropped away about midway through. The characters never really worked for me, and the description of the creatures patrolling the maze were vague and indistinct. The female character introduced about 3/4 of the way through didn't do much as a character either.

I just read this and found it very interesting but I don't think I'll read the next two for quite awhile. I like to feel at least some hope during a story, but the ending left me thinking that they were better off in the Glade without their memories.
