Good grief...I FINALLY found the primary book! It doesn't exist in any of the libraries or bookstores around here so I had to give in and order it online...and then my first order was cancelled because they didn't have it anymore! I don't know what this says about me, but it just makes me want it more.
Felicia, since you're leaving the country (hopefully for fun!) are you out for this month's discussion or are you doing it from across the pond? :DJessica, glad you got the book finally! It's a fast read though, so you shouldn't be too far behind!
Oh noes. I missed the announcement (yay space!) and LA nor Pasadena libraries have it (boo)....Later: to B&N it is; sorry independent bookstores, I tried and tried.
...The next day: Aha! Bookfellows in Glendale has two copies! Independent success!

I'm in Melbourne - used to go to Rendezvous' original store regularly when I worked in the city, but haven't been there for ages. I'll keep it in mind for next time. Thanks for the reminder!

Sometimes it sucks having to wait for Amazon or Book Depository to deliver all the way out to ..."Thanks for that tip Debf, I'm in Melbourne and will be checking that store for the next book.
Just in case the link got lost in the flood on IRC or Twitter, after seeing the gigantic wine glasses that were being used, I thought it would be interesting to see these at some point.http://xim5.com/pictures/funny_fail_p...
