For Christmas I received a C-Pen which copies text from books or papers and instantly puts the text on your computer's screen page. The C-Pen is held in the same way you hold a pen.
I'm including this topic in the Books & Reading section because I often copy quotes from books while I'm reading.
Plug the C-Pen cable into your computer and you're ready to go. Simply drag the C-Pen along the line of printed text you wish to copy. You will instantly see the text pop up on your computer screen to be saved in whichever file you choose. You can copy one line at a time.

Yes, it's fun to work with the C-Pen. It works fairly well as long as you run the pen smoothly across a flat page. Otherwise it will make errors which have to be edited. Still, I enjoy using it. I copy stuff which I never would attempt to transcribe without it.
