Hello there Becky and Emilee...! Happy almost New Year to you both. I have to read series in order as well (or I'm left trying to piece things together which isn't fun.) What kinds of historical fiction and/or fantasy to you like?!

Hello there Book Gobbler! I particularly enjoy Historical-Romance when it comes to Historical-Fiction, but I am good with anything really as long as the story is good. As far as fantasy goes, I guess I'd be more of a mainstream fantasy fan, but I'm slowly but surely trying to broaden my fantasy horizons.

What I really meant in regards to reading in order is that after I've read the series, I have to re-read the entire series if I want to revisit it. I can't just pick up a book mid-way through and read it, even if I've already read it.

Ahhh...gotcha. I'm kinda that way too, actually. Case in point: Harry Potter. I had to start from book 1 and read all the way through to book 6 before the last one came out last summer. Le sigh. And I'm glad that I did it that way!

Have you read the Diana Gabaldon OUTLANDER books??
