At first I imagined Kaya Scodelario, but when I started watching American Horror Story I imagined Taissa Farmiga.
At first I wasn't sure but then many people started saying Kaya Scodelario would be good for the role. AND I HAVE TO AGREE. KAYA. KAYA. KAYA.

Some one like Skyler Samuels.
Without knowing what the media suggested I actually imagined Kaya Scodelario as Alaska.

I think Juno Temple would be great.Also, Kat Dennings is perfect look and body wise for Alaska I think.
I also think Jennifer Lawrence could do a good job.

I imagined Alaska as Emma Watson while Miles as Logan Lerman. Reason is they're characteristics are a bit similar to that of Charlie and Sam of The Perks of being a wallflower.
Honestly as a friend of mine who's half white and Asian
I pictured her as a younger Winona Ryder, with a short black haircut and always wearing a zip-up hoodie, dark, acid-washed skinny jeans, and converse.
Nicola Peltz is so Alaska Young it's not funny. Runners up would be Gabriella Wilde or Alexandra Daddaria or Jennifer Lawrence because J-Law pulls off any role flawlessly and she matches the description. And unless kaya has blonde hair for the role it just wouldn't fit for Alaska.

J-Law would have been cool too, but I think she's a bit too old to play a teenager.

On watching To Write Love on Her Arms, it just reiterates my thoughts that Kat Dennings should play Alaska.
What about Shay Mitchell or Ashley Benson? They're both liars. Emily has the mysteriousness with the curves Miles always talks about. Ashley also has the curves and the bombshell look and can have the attitude like Alaska.
I think Annasophia Robb would be good. The book describe her as small but curvy, her body shape is perfect for the role

How old is Alaska? 16? 17? I don't even remember if her age was mentioned in the book. But would it be so bad having an actual teenager playing her?
As long as the teenager has enough acting experience and is proven as a good actor. The book deserves a great script and great "proven" actors.

But can you think of a woman (young) of color with green eyes and that is a proven great actress? colored contact lenses work. So who would you come up with?
