If we start them before the end of December and leave a couple of weeks before the winners decided in case anyone wants to enter.Hopefully we'll have a few willing members to take part by then as the group is just being revamped and hopefully it'll be more active again.
Maybe anonymous entries would be good. The entry gets sent to a mod by private message and the mod posts it on the thread.
Thank you, Princess and have a great day too~
Well it's an interesting idea, Princess but will someone except moderators will know who does belong to that entry? I think that is more better to know who is entering and with what...I think that is what you want to say when you say anonymous entry, if I don't have right then please ignore what had I said earlier

I see what you mean Jack but I've seen it done on another group.A friend of mine. There's a way of proving the entries so there's no cheating. If the entrant keeps a copy of their story then that will prove the stories are theirs.I'll look into it more, but it doesn't have to be done my way of course. It was just a suggestion.Maybe your ways better.
Of course you have right Jack. It's your group too.Keep the suggestions coming.

Usually people are alright entering writing comps so long as everything is easy to navigate and simple. You both have good ideas. It's just left up now to which would be simpler overall.
Also, if you have something to discuss with me, Princess, don't hesitate to P.M me. I don't mind. :)

for example we have a photo with a field full of grass and the daily theme is fantasy and to make a wonderful story like "in the middle of this nowhere field of grass, right before the eclipse began, a dark shadow appeared and rised a great army of undead..." Something like that...this is just a suggestion, if you like it or not it depends on you

Sounds good Iesha. You mean like group stories?I don't know nothing about roleplay, you'd have to teach me.lol!
The grammar and sentence structure is good as this is a writing group. It'll teach everyone.

I've opened a thread here were you can all put your ideas for a story competition.

Yes, basely two people or more that too get together in a thread and just write a story together. It helps to teach working together and writing. It also fosters friendship and helps with the creative part of the brain.:D
Maybe we should get a role-play folder going, so that group members can start their own inspiration.

Technically, there is no way to keep everyone active.
Outside this virtual world of quick-wit replies and flipping book pages, we each have our own individual lives to run.
Like Julius said - some people are too busy with work, school, studying and the likes.
This means, that, in the end?
The only thing we can do to keep this group alive, is be as active as possible ourselves, and hope that, somewhere along the way, people start participating once more.
I'm not going to deny, I've been busy a lot since last year.

I think most of us have been busy, lately. But the thing is, I think this group is somewhat...s....s....spe... SPECIAL (there, I said it). I remember when it first began and all the fun times we had. I don't want to see it die.

Well, neither do I! I'm trying to come up with a way to make it more active again, too.
I've got some pretty good memories on here, too, so it'd be such a shame to see it die out.
But, since in this day and age, the average person's lifestyle is a hectic jumble, between school, jobs, social lives, etc, we don't have time to even think about getting on.
We're so caught up in living our lives, we miss out on the good picture between friends.
Old acquaintances, that you used to spend hours online talking to, are now just that. Acquaintances.
There's no longer that familiarity that you're used to. The days, months, years apart between the last conversation and the most recent, the most new - a striking difference in personality, between the two, visible now.
Because you need to remember, that outside this online world of ours, when the online status switches to offline - people change. They grow, expand and shrink their horizon all the time, adrift at sea, while slowly gazing at an island in the distance. And, with every difference in personality, their island gets closer. And, come time to land off the boat and onto the bountiful beach, perhaps the island never stops growing.
And that's a good thing.
So, that said... Shall we revive? :3
