The Romeo and Juliet Code
question
Derek and Flissy

(Spoiler)
Do any of you think it's awkward how Flissy likes Derek, and then she finds out that he is technically her brother? Also, does any of you find that Danny and Winnie are not very good parents for Flissy? Who do you think is a better father, Gideon or Danny?

I was a little weirded out by that because he is her uncle but it was so cute still :)
I had read this book a while ago. But wasn't Derek adopted? I can't remember. Lol.
Derek was adopted so It's a little akward but natural their not tecnicaly related so liking him is okay and Danny is a good father hes just not her real father Gideon is a great father to

I think Gideon is a better dad. And I think its okay for
Flissy to like Derek because they really arent brothers and sister.
Flissy to like Derek because they really arent brothers and sister.
Its not weird for me because one they aren't related and two they aren't adopted brothers and sisters he's her adopted uncle because The Gram adopted him not Gideon and I think Gideon is the better father because while Danny picked work over Flissy, Gideon found a way to do his work which is also extremely important and have time for Flissy.
I think that it is natural to like Derek, because he's gorgous and she thinks of him like the friend she never had. So yes, it's alright to think so, even though he may actually be her brother. If so, then it shouldn't happen. But for now we really can't decide.
I think that Gideon was a better parent than Danny, cuz Danny just left her there at the house without even staying to eat with her or say a long goodbye.
