I'm in the middle of Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Also reading World War Z for the second time to get pumped for the movie.

Just finished 'In the Garden of Beasts' by Erik Larson. It's about the US ambassador to Germany's tenure during the years leading up to WWII.

Next probably the Hobbit or Snakes in Suits.

Liam (liamrooney) I'm 400 pages into 11.22.63. It will be the longest book i've read so far, and from my experience one of Stephen Kings best. For a concept so unreal, it has been written in a way that almost makes you feel like it could be true. I'd recommend it to anybody who has enjoyed his work.

Brian Lumpkins | 2 comments Reading the Hobbit right now. Flying home for the holidays and have almost 2 weeks off of working. Hoping to finish the last 100 pages of the Hobbit, read Killing Lincoln then start No Easy Day at least over the next 2 weeks.

Liam,
The only Stephen King novel I've read is the Gunslinger. I got about a quarter way through and still didn't know wtf was going on lol. It was just a dude walking around in a desert..guess I should really finish reading it sometime.

Brian,
About a fifth into the Hobbit. Never realized how such an easy read it was, both grammatically and conceptually. Didn't know until recently that it was meant to be a children's book lol

Liam (liamrooney) Justin i've made it to the third Dark Tower series book (4 including The Wind Through The Keyhole) but I think i'm going to leave them for a while before I get back to them. I enjoyed them but as you said there is a fair bit of travelling in them which I can't decide if I like or not aha.

I read The Hobbit as well in last years challenge and saw the film two nights ago, i'm pretty sure the film stayed accurate to the events in the book which was good to see. I'll probably end up re reading it later next year before the second film to refresh my memory. Nice readable book though.
