Is it just my computer? bookcovers

So I noticed that all the bookcovers in posts no longer go across vertically but only horizontally now. I first noticed it when I was updating challenges on my personal challenge thread. I opened the edit boxes and and they are listed as going across horizontally in the edit box but show up vertical in the posts. It's not a huge deal but it does make the posts longer and harder to scroll through.

Does this make sense? Instead of:
bookcover,bookcover,bookcover

its
bookcover
bookcover
bookcover.

I noticed it too. Makes everything I post seem super long. I hope it goes back to normal.

I nearly posted that yesterday - but thought it was just me.

That isn't the only thing that's changed I had shelfs that I named 2½-3 star ratings, 4½-5 star ratings and then from one day to another when I wanted to put a book I recently read in it, from out of nowhere a new shelf was added 2-3 star ratings. No matter how many times I tried to move the books to my old shelf it just kept staying in the new one. All my other books that I read before this change was still in my old shelf but all my recently read books went into these shelfs that were created from nowhere :P.

I read of a work around in another group.

Just add a html tag in the line before. Something like (without the space of course.)
< i>
Bookcovers

That will line up all the bookcovers horizontally.

Don't do it like:
< i> Bookcovers (that won't work for whatever reason.)

I heard the issue has been reported so they know about it. I don't know when it will be fixed, maybe when the new updates go out?

That is also a known bug from the updates. It is either something to do with the hypens/emdashs that you've used to create the shelves or if you've used symbols to create the halfs.

Try editing your existing shelves without any dashes at all and see if that works. Or if it is the symbols you'll need to change the name or it will keep happening.

Well the html fix thingy worked for the bookcovers on my own post.

I've noticed for a couple of weeks now that I frequently get bad gateway error and at least once I a day I get Goodreads Down for Maintenance errors when moving around the site.

I think they are still working out bugs and stuff.
