Favorite books so far:
The Art of Fielding
Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim (audiobook as read by the author)
A Storm of Swords
Wonderstruck
I'm actually ahead right now!! Of course, I can only blame this on the fact that I'm reading SO MANY graphic novels and they go by a little faster for me. Not to say they're too easy--I'm enjoying the plots of these far more than the novels I've read so far this year.
I'm also working on cleaning up some of the books I had started and never finished, and I'm doing really well with that.
Favorites so far?
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (all 6 books)
The Sandman (I've finished books 1 and 2)
Sweet Tooth
I really haven't read any novels that I've loved.
I just started Stephen King's 11/22/63 and I'm so hooked right now. I'm also eagerly anticipating the release of the new Dark Tower book.

Lindsey, just want to comment that I LOVE the Sandman series. Hope you enjoy the rest of it as much as I did.

Faye, I just finished I Am Half Sick Of Shadows today. Loved it, it's my favorite Flavia mystery so far.

Well this is my first challenge & I've read 25 books so far! So that's, what, 8 ahead of where I need to be to keep on pace? I'm pretty proud of myself so far. I haven't really gotten into any ruts yet that were too bad. (Knock on wood) My last book of only 288 pages did take me 11 days to finish, though :/
My favourites so far have been:
The Hunger Games (whole series)
A Dog's Purpose
Poughkeepsie
Captain Blood: His Odyssey (a re-read but still a favourite since I first read it 6-ish years ago)

I can't really put then down right now. Between that and Doctor Who (on Netflix) my time is well-spent.

My favorite book so far is Lord of The Silver Bow by David Gemmell, it's the first book in the Troy trilogy, actually i loved the whole trilogy but the first one is my favorite of the three :)

I just finished #25, so I think I'm going to try and get into some longer, heavier reads.
My favorites so far this year have been:
Gone for Good by Harlan Coben
To Kill a Mockingbird
and Solo Faces: A Novel by James Salter
I also set some special goals within the 50 books to get me out of my typical genres and into new terrain. Check out my progress.
