I am really looking forward to reading this book. Once I picked up Legacy of Ashes (thanks to someone in the HBC who encouraged me to read it) I could not put it down. Thanks to Random House for the offer, and to Bentley for a fine job of organization. Happy to see so much interest in this book and hope that others who might procure the book on their own nonetheless decide to join the discussions.

Yes those threads are on the site. I will try to provide some links here when I have an opportunity - but that book has as its focus the CIA not the FBI as this one will.

Looking at it more closely, it looks like it isn't a complete history of the FBI, but its use of surveillance. Should be interesting.
