Have you read hunger games?? If you haven't I suggest you read it instead of divergent, cuz divergent is almost and exact copy of HG, thought I liked hunger games better that divergent...try them both

Since you like Gone, I suggest you read Unwind. It's really cool!

Maybe you should try the Night Angel trilogy...

And the The Amulet of Samarkand is fantastic!!

you should definitely try Percy Jackson series.

Vampire Academy is really good if you're looking for some vamp drama...

I don't find divergent and the hunger games to be anything alike...

The setting is different but Katniss and Tris are very alike, though tris is a bit more level headed. The same kind of love triangle (tris*al*four), the same kind of politics, the evil people taking over the world *melodramatic music please* and Tris having to save the world...

Gone of course!! Nothing beats the gone series! other than that I like Vampire Academy, Unwind (you should try it out) and maybe I'm comming to like stephen King's books...it's just that I like most of them but I hardly ever find books that really hit me.

1. How do you guys feel about the whole clear barrier thing?: It was one heck of a twist. I agree, I think some kids will just sit there and communicate with their parents. I'm sure there will also be some sort of fight and that will be interesting for the parents to see for sure.

2. I'm fine with Edilio being gay. It doesn't define him as a person. He's still the same reliable, smart, leader from before. He has great advice though.

Dekka and Bri? Eh. I honestly don't see them as more than friends. Like Bri explained, she doesn't seem too awfully interested in dating anyone and that just makes her The Breeze.

I like Caine and Diana. I hope they'll end up together again. How often can a couple recall how their baby was invaded by a sinister darkness while they were trapped inside a dome-shaped barrier?

Penny was scary. I'm not sure I've ever seen a child bad guy so creepy. When I look at her age, I always kind of O.O because she sure was evil for a kid. Still, I feel bad for her parents. Not so much for her death. She was too dangerous to be kept alive.


3. I actually really liked her. She amused me. She's evil, but yeah, her laughing and talking was amusing even though she's probably going to start a lot of trouble in Light. I hope that she will end up being a regular baby and the darkness is beaten.


4. That was annoying but it's one of those cliffhanger things. Since the author modeled Computer Jack after his own son, it will be interesting to see if he lives or dies. He was very brave, though, and I liked him in the past (just sad there isn't much mention of him now). I hope he'll live. Same with Taylor!

Man, I felt so bad for Mary. She truly believed that she was doing the right thing in Lies and was going through so much pressure. The description of her outside the FAYZ was horrifying. I thought it was really sad that she could talk and stuff but died before she got to see her parents again. I kind of wanted to cry.

I liked the excerpts from "outside." It wouldn't have been the same without them. Plus it was cool seeing more of Sam's mother.

Noo-ooh! Diana's crazy about her baby, and for the first time the twins are together(not that I'm too happy about it, I liked it better when they were fighting) so, not sure they will end up together...

Penny may or may not be dead...I actually kinda liked her...
