Marjorie Friday Baldwin (marjoriefbaldwin) | 68 comments I created a list called Beach Reads for 2012 and added a bunchaton of my favorite titles for "getting lost this book for hours on end" or "can't put down" titles. Some are SF/F, some are not. All genres are welcome. I couldn't think of any good "thriller" or "suspense" books for the beach, per se though obviously there are ooodles of good books in both of those genres, too. Are there any good SF Thriller or SF Suspense you'd add? Click through and add them here right now.

What are the books you like to read lounging in the sun not caring how long you lie there reading? Add them to this list and let's populate it with some great books to take to the beach this summer.

Read a book, save a sunburn
Beach Reads for 2012

I have to confess, since I created the list, I added my book and it is actually #1 on the list - oh and it is totally a great beach read, but VERY sexy so ... you've been warned guys! Ladies, read away (haha Finally! An advantage to being female!!)

Marjorie Friday Baldwin (marjoriefbaldwin) | 68 comments Well, here in the Northern Hemisphere :) we are looking at the big "BBQ and go to the beach" weekend also known as Memorial Day Weekend in the US. It's the last weekend of May and as such is when kids are getting out of school and families start being able to go away for a weekend. It's a holiday in the US, supposedly to honor our Vets of Foreign Wars, but has turned into a glorification of BBQ instead. And Beach Reads :)
