When you search for the book, click on the "# Other Editions" link in gray... It will then show you all editions, and only the one that is actually on your shelves will show as already there. You can then add the edition that you want and have a duplicate of the book on your shelves.

Google Books agrees with you; no ISBN. Slightly odd for 1970, but not terribly so.

To add a new book, go to the search page and choose manually add a new book. After you save it, you can combine it with other editions already in the database.
