The main reason I write is to entertain. I love crafting fiction, and romance seems to be my calling - in writing, I mean. "Trinity James" is a western historical romance, for I am enamored with the American West of the 19th century. Okay, to tell the truth, I grew up on the TV westerns of the 50s and 60s, cowboys were my heros. Maybe they still are. (!!) No, my husband is my hero . . . but enough about that. There's something about the rip-roarin' wild west that gets my (creative) juices flowing, but I plunk in that heroine and wreck havoc on the traditional western. I love adventure, drama, and suspense, and throw in as much of these as my story allows. I write to entertain and take the reader on an adventure. My branding statement is: "Outrage. Peril. Secrets. Strength and passion . . . and love to last a lifetime." And, I hope, the reader doesn't want the story to end. Carolyn
