The thread "For Creative People" is very popular on Goodreads, so I have decided to create one like that thread here. All you have to do is be creative and keep the story going by adding on your own part. Finish with ... so that the next commenter will know you've finished. Don't end the story too soon, though, or it won't be as fun! I'll start:

Once upon a time, there was a very nosy, curious girl who worked in a bakery. She enjoyed listening to the customer's gossip, and also enjoyed spreading rumors. The girl's name was...

Claire, she had red hair streaked with black highlights. She was built slender and tall. She always wore make-up perfectly applied despite her work around the hot ovens. On this particular day she had heard some particularly juicy gossip about Miss Davis. But she had to wait until Mrs. Leran came in. Mrs. Laren was Miss Davis's neighbor and she would be able to confirm and the rumor and more then likely add too it.

((OK, this may have sucked sorry. I love writing like this but I'm not very good at it.))

When Mrs and Mr Leran arrived, Claire presented to them two perfectly iced buns. "No charge!" she told them with a dazzling smile. "So...do you have any news?" Mrs. Leran smiled greedily at the buns, and, not realizing what she was saying, began talking about Miss Davis' latest scandal. She said "...
