Gosh you people why complain about jaces actor like hello did you see Simons actor he's absolutly nothing like I imagined him he's ungly and has Curley hair and I'm sorry but I hate curly hair on guys it just looks weird in my opinion
Wait nvm I just saw more pictures of him he's not that bad
I still hate the curly hair though I thought he was supposed to have straight hair
I'm having mixed feeling about Simon not sure if I like him or not
I think he looks the part in the photos and trailers. I am confused as to why everyone thinks he should have and American accent. I never thought he necessarily should, he was supposed to have spent the first ten years of his life in Idris. I would think he would have an accent.
After seeing Jamie as Jace in the movie trailer, I'm starting to think that he looks like the part or at least more than I thought at the beginning. The acting in the little clips and trailers look Amazing, so this kinda makes me confident that Jamie IS Jace. :)
I think Jamie will be amazing! After seeing him more and more in the commercials and posters Im warming up to him . And he WANTED the part unlike Alex Pettyfer. I would rather have someone who will give it their all than someone who doesnt care.
I really didn't think the actor they have playing Jace looks like the Jace I see at all. This might sound stupid, but when I read the books I always see that guy from Austin and Ally as Jace. I think mostly it's his face I picture, but if he worked out a little I dunno, I think I cud totally see him as Jace.
I started reading the books after the trailer of CoB was released, and at first, I pictured Jamie as Jace. But then I realized Jamie was not even close to the Jace we all love. I understand it's impossible that the Jace I picture in my head would appear on the movie and I also think that Alex Pettyfer is closer to being Jace. But even thou Jamie isn't that bad, I even like him for Jace, and let's remember that we have only seen very little of him being Jace so his acting could really surprise us. Soo I was fooling around and found this guy on fb that for me looks almost like Jace. What do you think? (It's the one on top)

At first, when I saw the trailer for the first time, I thought that Jamie wasn't Jace. Then, more trailers and stills came out, and I saw videos of him talking about the movie, and all that. Now, I can see him as Jace. I think that Jamie is a good actor, he did a good job in New Moon and he has put a lot of effort in the role of Jace. Personally, what I think that they did wrong was the hair. I don't like how they did his hair. Also, I want to wait to see the movie and how he acts on it to give my final verdict of him. For now, he is a good Jace in my mind.
When I first heard that Jamie was cast as Jace, I was really skeptical because I just hadn't pictured him looking like that. However, after I saw the trailers and interviews with Jamie and the other cast members, I was more convinced that he was going to play Jace perfectly. It's almost freaky, but his personality is almost identical to Jace's. It's like Jamie is Jace reincarnated, which is pretty awesome. One issue I had as well was the hair. I absolutely did not picture Jace as having long hair, or I should say longer hair, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see how everything turns out in the movie. I have high hopes!
Tbh, i really don't kniw why people are hating on him. Jamieeould make a perfect Jace in my opinion. I was a bit skeptical when i saw the stills but then after the trailer, i'm very sure he'll do good as Jace.

actually I always thought that Jaime was the perfect person to represent jace...idk why he's just seems like jace... like the way he talks & looks.. lol idk HES PERFECT FOR THE ROLE!!! ^_^
I think JCB is doing a great and perfect job as Jace!
I think Jamie Campbell Bower is the perfect Jace. I can't imagine anyone else in the role.

First and foremost..I have always LOVED Jamie, all the way back to his incredible performance in Sweeney Todd. I was SO incredibly excited to find out he was going to be cast in MI. Upon seeing him in the movie, I nearly fell out of my chair at his portrayal of Jace. Spectacular! It pains me to read the negative comments regarding him in this role. I just came across an interview during his time in Mexico, where he addresses KNOWLEDGE of these comments. It broke my heart..it pained me to hear that he is very well aware of the comments that some people are saying about him and his role. He is 100% completely right with how he addressed the negativity. I applaude him for doing so, and I will continue to love him as Jace as well as his acting, singing, and of course his modeling.
I loved him as Jace in the movie. He wasn't the Jace i pictured in the book. But he made the character his own in the movie and he portrayed a very gorgeous, likeable Jace. I fell in love with him. :)
Me too! He was absolutely perfect. The only issue I had was the length of his hair. Other than that, he was absolute perfection!

I loved Jamie as Jace! He was really Jace from head to toes! Jamie's acting was great,but i think that he had to be more sarcastic when he said some of his hilarious quotes. I believe that this was a film's mistake because when he said for example the quote of loving himself he was angry because of Clary so he could't be sarcastic! Anyway Jamie was great and i think that the length of the hair was perfect because as you can see in the first book's cover Jace's hair was that long!
Why do i think that Jace has long hair? Even in the cover of city of bones he has long hair as jamies had!
Like so many others I had some reservations w/ JCB playing Jace but I was blown away by his performance as Jace! He had an absolutely magnificent screen presence; every time he appeared in a scene I couldn't help but look over at him. And just like Jace he just seemed to be able to fill the area around him with his confidence. He did complete justice to the character :)
Thank you Ave!He was 100% superb! I think it would be very beneficial for ALL to read up on his preparaton for the "role" of Jace. LOVE him!

His stunts...freaking incredible. I have NEVER seen an actor do all of his own stunts, let alone as good as he did. Seriously impressed.
I know right! One of the reasons why I LOVE this movie is because of the "realness", no wires, barely any stunt men or women, nor any wigs..etc..Real. As long as he (and they) are safe..INCREDIBLE is right!

Yes! The only one which Jamie asked to have his stunt guy step in was the part with Madame Dorothea, where she whacked his head on the table. *Yikes* sorry stunt guy! Isn't Jamie awesome?!
Wow!!Yeah!!!I liked Jamie since Sweeny Todd,Twilight and Camelot! He is a great actor and he seems a nice guy. I've learned that he made his own stunts now!!! He's more amazing than I thought!

Yes and I knew he was the more suitable for Jace's role!I think that Alex Pettyfet that many fans suggested isn't such a great actor as Jamie and he would ruin the character!

Areti- Alex petyfer is gorgeous but he wouldn't have been as good as actor as Jamie.

Jamie isn't so good-looking as Alex,although I think he has something attractive and you can't resist, but he is a great actor!
Ok. I have a question about JCB in the movie.. I THINK I remember this being referenced in the book, but, I can't remember..When they are at the club, after Jace kills the demon, didn't his eyes turn color for a second? Why was that again? Such a cool and beautiful effect!

I wondered that too, but I thought they did that just to give a little wink to the fans who love Jace's gold eyes, since his eyes are blue for the rest of the film. And can I just say that, as much as I love Jace's gold eyes, I'm glad that they didn't have JCB wear contacts b/c sometimes that can really make an actor's eyes look odd :P
