Me too, but sometimes I never know how to balance it out.

LOL Dustin! After reading my post, I thought I would add that part at the end, in case that's what anyone was thinking. : )

After that I read a new novella..."
Well thank goodness for that, Charlene!:) Thank you.

I'm glad you're loving it, Ginta!:)

Alex I gave it 4*, it was excellent, but it was difficult to read at times. A couple loses their young son and are trying to cope.
The Harrowing This was a ghost story that seemed to peak way to early. It was ok, I gave it 3*.
Now I am reading the second book of that fantasy trilogy: The Wise Man's Fear. These were written by Patrick Rothfuss and I am just loving them. Epic fantasy, but not a lot of swordplay and fighting, (at least, not so far). I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys fantasy.

Hi, Kit!
I've read some of McGuire's other work, and so I'd be interested in your thoughts on this one once you're done..:)

I think I am going to read The Bachman Books for my next King read. Can't wait to see how you like them. :)

I'm reading Rage right now, and I have to say it's pretty creepy so far.

Holly&Kathryn-so jealous of two! I hope to own the bachman books sometime.

I have an extra copy of it, if you want it. :)

Hi, Kit!

Sure! Which ones have you read? I read What-the-Dickens: The Story of a Rogue Tooth Fairy earlier this year, and about 5 or 6 years ago I read Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and my copy of that one (along with about 10 other books) got ruined by a leaky air conditioner that was above the book shelf... made me sad. I want another copy to do a re-read and also find the others in that series. I enjoyed both of those books though, and would love to read more by Maguire. So far this one's not bad, I'm a little less than halfway through :D

I haven't gotten to that one yet. So far I've finished Rage, and I have to say it creeped me out.

Hi, Holly- I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! I think Rage is probably one of my favorite's of King's early work. It's so dark and vivid, and really speaks volumes about our society as a whole. It's very prophetic, as well.

Yes, The Long Walk IS incredibly stunning, Charlene!

Hey Dustin. It was amazing. The whole way through it I just kept thinking "Oh wow." This is deffenately one that's going to stay with me.

I'm about to start The Long Walk.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much, Holly.. and didn't find it too terribly disturbing.:)

Thanks. I did find it disturbing in a way, but it was a good disturbing. The kind of disturbing that made me want to keep reading to find out what happens!

:) Disturbing in a good way, I like that!

Hehe thanks! :)

You are welcome.

Don't know what to read next either... I'm thinking I might need a King fix, maybe that's why I'm having problems being satisfied by anything lately... Maybe Bag of Bones or The Green Mile, it's been a good long while since I've read either of them... We'll see what calls to me when I go rootin' through the ol' TBR cupboard.

Sounds great, Kit!
I'm looking forward to reading your review.
I am currently reading "The Widow of the South" by Robert Hicks and I am also reading "North and South" by John Jakes (which is a re-read) haven't read it since I was aobut 15.

I hope you're enjoying them, Donna.:)

I'm so glad to hear that, Tracy!!
Later today, I should finally be starting Inheritance.

No, I haven't read anything by Karen Slaughter, Tracy, but I have heard good things.:)
Yeah, I remember you telling me before that you couldn't get through Inheritance. Hopefully you can get the book soon.

I am currently reading A Feast for Crows
